Suggestions for more names like this please

Hello everyone, I’ve been on this site for a while playing with names, but now I’m finally pregnant! Super exciting. Anyway, now that there’s really going to be a baby in [name]December[/name], none of the names on our list really make me swoon. I just don’t know what the perfect name would be. We won’t be finding out the sex, and the girl name is [name]Josephine[/name]. Middle names aren’t a problem, plenty of family names to work with. The one name that I could see giving a baby boy with absolute joy is [name]Julian[/name], but here’s the rub. I come from a family of all J names (even the dog, even the sailboat!), and I’ve sworn that only one of my children would have a J name. If we had a boy and named him [name]Julian[/name], and then had a girl next, I’d have to convince my husband to let go of [name]Josephine[/name], which he is really really attached to. [name]Don[/name]'t know if I could do it.

Could you give some suggestions based on the other names on this list that you think we might like?

  • [name]Edmond[/name]- Like it, hubby likes it a lot, somehow it doesn’t feel very real to me. Like, I can’t imagine calling a child [name]Edmond[/name] 50 times a day, and I don’t like the nicknames [name]Ed[/name] or [name]Eddie[/name] at all.
  • [name]Dante[/name] - last name is Tillery and I worry that it’s too T heavy
    [name]Mateo[/name] - again, t heavy? That’s why I’ve got to pass on [name]Tobias[/name], even though I really like it. Hubby doesn’t like either of these.
  • [name]Oscar[/name]- I like, he doesn’t.
  • [name]Victor[/name] or [name]Vaughn[/name]

I adore [name]Julian[/name]. We too have the name picked out if we ever have a son. I love [name]Josephine[/name] and [name]Julian[/name] together. As long as you dont give a third child a J name I dont think it is a problem. In all honesty I dont think there is a boys name out there that is better than [name]Julian[/name], but I’ll give it a try any way :stuck_out_tongue:

Others that I think would sound good with your last name (and that remind me of your taste) are [name]Ian[/name], [name]Anderson[/name], and [name]Xavier[/name].
