I’m pregnant with my first baby and my fiance and I found out a few days ago that we’re having a girl. I found this site yesterday while looking for ideas and decided to make an account to ask for help specifically!
[name_f]My[/name_f] fiance is Italian so we’d love to possibly use at least one Italian name in the combo but it isn’t necessary. We’ve found we do like a lot of Italian girls names though, and we like names that are fairly girly and frilly. She’ll be taking his surname, which is a fairly common Italian surname that is 3 syllables, starts in R and ends in O.

The names I really like are:
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] - Very feminine and has ample nns which is always good! [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice.
[name_f]Liliana[/name_f]- [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is a very cute name but also ages well and the ending adds the frilly aspect that you like.
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]- I don’t think this is weird because you’re called [name_f]Anna[/name_f]! I knew people called [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] before any associations and it is a vintage and charming gem.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]- This is often underused in my opinion. Has the same vintage charm and yet seems contemporary and befitting of a lady.
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]- This was a surprising choice as it isn’t a common name where I live for the littlest generation but I can see the appeal. A girly sounding name which isn’t too much of a mouthful.
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]- I prefer [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] but this choice is lovely. In fact, I am really warming to it and the more I say it the more I like it. Delicate sound that would suit any age.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]- This is the kind of name that I thought of when I first looked at the thread. Beautiful sounding name with good nickname options and it is well known yet not too common.
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]- An utterly gorgeous name! [name_f]Della[/name_f] is a beautiful nickname and I absolutely love the image that it evokes.
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]- I prefer [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and it could be a bit much with an Italian surname but it ticks all of the boxes for your criteria. It isn’t my favourite though.
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]- [name_f]Bella[/name_f] is a lovely diminutive! It sounds very royal and aristocratic to me which I do like. It is a less common [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] which has both positives and negatives.
