I’d go with [name]Rosalind[/name], [name]Edie[/name], or [name]Claire[/name]. I don’t see how some of the other names are truly honoring her mother (like [name]Jane[/name], for instance).
I really like [name]Mia[/name] [name]Claire[/name]. I think it sounds so pretty. [name]Rosalind[/name] is NMS, but I think [name]Rosalind[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] is lovely and honors your mother and grandmother beautifully.
The reason I offered [name]Jane[/name] as an option is because she named my other siblings (after my dad and stepdad), so the name meant something to her…I know it is more of a stretch though. I also included [name]Pearl[/name] because it was her mom’s name. I still feel both of these names reflect a connection to her.
Thanks for the suggestions so far. I love [name]Mia[/name] [name]Claire[/name]! I hadn’t considered using [name]Rosalind[/name] as a first name…will check it out with my husband
If your husband doesn’t go for [name]Rosalind[/name] as a first name (which I think he should but mine wouldn’t) I think [name]Mia[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] is very pretty
I also like [name]Julia[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] as econo suggested. Such a beautiful combo. [name]Julia[/name] is my second favorite girls name and I’ve always liked [name]Julia[/name] [name]Rose[/name], so [name]Julia[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name] would be great! I also like [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Claire[/name] or [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] [name]Claire[/name] is beautiful. It’s my favorite from your list. Although, I wouldn’t shy away from just using [name]Edwina[/name] in the middle name spot.
I voted for [name]Mia[/name] [name]Claire[/name], because it’s the one I’d go for myself. Feels the most elemental of all of them. [name]Mia[/name] is popular, but it is just such a simple beautiful strong yet sweet sounding name. [name]Mia[/name] [name]Claire[/name] sounds like the name of someone clearheaded and graceful. After that I like [name]Tessa[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. Crisp crisp crisp. [name]Tessa[/name] makes me think of tesseracts, which are pretty amazing. Maybe she’d grow up to be a mathematician. Then [name]Rosalind[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] ([name]Rosalind[/name] from As You Like It is just the best Shakespearean woman ever, [name]Pearl[/name] is nms but it complements [name]Rosalind[/name] nicely.)
