Hello! I haven’t been around here in a long time but the site was incredibly helpful with naming my daughter. I recently found out I am unexpectedly expecting my third child, so naturally I started thinking about names almost instantly.
I have a son, Dashel [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m], who is [name_u]Dash[/name_u] most of the time, and a daughter, [name_f]Junia[/name_f] Eiffel.
To be honest, I have looked back at my lists that I posted here when I was pregnant with Ju, and I can’t imagine using most of them now. So I am almost starting over completely. I find girls names a little easier, so I’m starting there. I will likely post about boys names at some point during the week as I need a lot of help with those!
So, if you had two children called [name_u]Dash/name_u and [name_f]Junia[/name_f], what would you call a baby sister? I am literally welcome to any suggestions! My style is fairly broad.
Congratulations!! Dashel and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] are so unique. Is there meaning behind [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] and Eiffel, love the European place name theme! Here are some suggestions:

Ps. Does your daughter get Junior a lot because I love Junia and have been humming and harring on whether to add it to my list.
Someone earlier suggested [name_f]Lux[/name_f]- I think that’s a really cool choice for the sibling set. Similarly, the name [name_f]Nyx[/name_f] (goddess of night) has a great sound and fits in with the other unique names.
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Sylvania[/name_f] (syl-VAHN-ya, not like Pennsylvania) or [name_f]Sylva[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Petal[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Pet[/name_f])
[name_f]Birdella[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Birdie[/name_f])
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] (nn Nazzie)
[name_f]Catalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] (pronounced either jor-[name_f]JANE[/name_f]-ya or jor-jee-AW-na) (nn [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] or [name_u]Georgie[/name_u])
[name_f]Aquila[/name_f]
[name_f]Alba[/name_f]
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Livvy[/name_f])
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Pixie[/name_f])
Justia
Dashel and [name_f]Junia[/name_f] are amazing! [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] is one of my favourite boy names and my daughter is [name_f]Juno[/name_f], so I’m hoping our styles might be somewhat similar. Here are some of my more adventurous favourites, since you already have lots of gorgeous suggestions above:
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Behati[/name_f]
[name_f]Sistine[/name_f] (if not as a first, it fits your geographical middle name theme)

Thank you everyone! I forgot I posted this so sorry I am only just replying. There are some fantastic suggestions here.
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] is on our list already! I love it. I just can’t decide how to spell it. My husband thinks [name_f]Margo[/name_f] because people are more likely to pronounce it correctly, but [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_u]Robbie[/name_u] is so popular now I feel most would be able to work out [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and I feel the spelling looks more complete.
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Ember[/name_u] are pretty too.
[name_m]Rhodes[/name_m] is a family name on my husbands side and Eiffel we chose because we got engaged in [name_u]Paris[/name_u]. Pretty cheesy but I loved the sound of Eiffel as a name so we went for it!
I like [name_u]Clove[/name_u], [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. A few of those are on our long list!
She does get [name_m]Junior[/name_m] a lot but most people get it right when we correct them, even if it takes a few times. When people say it fast it does come out as [name_m]Junior[/name_m] but even I’m guilty of that!
My father in law struggles with it so he tends to just call her Ju or [name_f]Junie[/name_f] most of the time so I don’t correct him constantly. Luckily they are both nicknames we use a lot.
We get so many sweet comments on her name though, I love it! I worried about the same thing but it’s not been as bad as I thought it would be.
I love [name_f]Cassia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucilla[/name_f], [name_f]Indira[/name_f] (this was actually our second choice for [name_f]Junia[/name_f] and probably my first choice at the moment for a girl), [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], Marren (although I prefer [name_f]Maren[/name_f] - also on our list), [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (this is on our list too!)and [name_f]Eugenia[/name_f]. Thank you!
I do like [name_f]Lux[/name_f]. it’s a little more… abrupt (I think would be the right word) than I would like but I do really like the sound. I also like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] (on our list already!), [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] (pixie is adorable).
Thank you! I like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (already on our list), [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] and [name_u]Seren[/name_u].
thank you! I love [name_f]Juno[/name_f]!! I’ve always loved Dashel. Although personally I would have gone with the [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] spelling but my husband wouldn’t use it any other way. It’s grown on me, but I would’ve preferred [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m].
I love [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] (actually already on our list!), [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] (again, on the list!), [name_f]Delphi[/name_f], [name_f]Margalo[/name_f] (this is soo beautiful, no idea why I hadn’t considered this.), [name_f]Apolline[/name_f], [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Ismay[/name_f].
Thank you! I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and both [name_f]Saga[/name_f] and [name_f]Lyra[/name_f]. [name_f]Saga[/name_f] is not one I had considered but it is beautiful.
