We’re still trying to narrow down the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] combos you guys helped me with earlier this week, but now I want to get a list going for other other major contender if this baby is a girl: [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. For middles, we like something unexpected (so no filler-y names like [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f], and [name_f]Anne[/name_f]). It doesn’t necessarily need to be a totally obscure name, just one that gives a surprise sparkle to [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].
However, there’s a piece of additional criteria that must also be met this time. My husband’s ironclad rule when it comes to naming is that at least one of the names has to be a Catholic saint’s name, which I’m more than happy to comply with. Unfortunately, there is no recognized Catholic saint named [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] as of yet, so any middle names you suggest should be saints’ names. Variations and feminizations of male saints’ names are fine, as are [name_u]Marian[/name_u] apparations (Our Lady of [name_f]Guadalupe[/name_f], Our Lady of [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f], etc).
So far I have these combos on my list:
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Asteria[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Zinovia[/name_f] ([name_f]Zenobia[/name_f] is a saint)
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_u]Carmen[/name_u] (Our Lady of Mount [name_u]Carmel[/name_u])
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalena[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Cecile[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Salomea[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Lourdes[/name_f]
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Theophania[/name_f] (I’m still kind of considering it.)
Thanks!
