suggestions on my list

I was finally able to get inspired this week by sitting in my little girls room and trying to picture some name letters on the wall.

The middle name will be [name]Jean[/name] (this is not my most fave name, but it honors both grandmas) so it means a lot to us and hopefully will to her too someday as both grandmas are worth being named after  -angels on earth!

Anyways here are my top ten in order that I like them/can picture using on her the most.

  1. [name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  2. [name]Molly[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  3. [name]Paige[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  4. [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  5. [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  6. [name]Julie[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  7. [name]Nicole[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  8. [name]Carly[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  9. [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
  10. [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name]

Personally, I find [name]Nicole[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] a little dated, and [name]Carly[/name] and [name]Paige[/name] are quite trendy at the moment - as names like this date the fastest, I try and avoid them. (That said, [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Jean[/name] would be a lovely name, and [name]Carly[/name] could be a nn option.)

[name]Chloe[/name] is also quite popular, which is something I try and avoid - there’s nothing wrong with the name at all, I just think when some of your other choices are rarer, it’d make sense to opt for them instead.

[name]Audrina[/name], although not my favourite name (I do like [name]Audrey[/name] though, so no exactly sure where my problem with it lies), does sound good with [name]Jean[/name] - I’m pronouncing them to rhyme, so it gives the vintage combination a bit of spunk.

I adore alliteration, but because [name]Julie[/name] is only two syllables, the J and EE sounds repeat too close together in [name]Julie[/name] [name]Jean[/name], and it makes it a little hard to say. To get to the nn [name]Julie[/name], [name]Juliet/name and [name]Jubilee[/name] both sound fantastic with [name]Jean[/name]. Other J names you might like in first place are [name]Junia[/name], [name]Juniper[/name], [name]Jessamine[/name], and [name]Jacinta[/name].

[name]Elizabeth[/name] is popular, but obviously a classic, and comes with so many nicknames to add a bit of pizazz - thumbs up.

[name]Miriam[/name] is a beautiful name, feminine but not fussy, familiar but not too popular, and the combination has fantastic flow. Nns [name]Mira[/name] and [name]Miri[/name] are lovely, too.

[name]Molly[/name] is a lovely, down-to-earth vintage choice, not too out-there but not yet too popular in the US (I’m in the UK, where it ranks higher up). She sounds very sweet with [name]Jean[/name], but the name would work just as well on an adult. You might also like names like [name]Polly[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name].

Good luck!
[name]Auburn[/name]

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I think it’s got a lot of spunk to it! I like [name]Audrey[/name] and [name]Audriana[/name] (ah-nuh) better - [name]Audriana[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is lovely- but i don’t have a problem with [name]Audrina[/name].

My second favorite is [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. Ha, I’m at opposite ends of your list.

[name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is too rhyme-y for me, it doesnt flow well.

[name]Molly[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is my favorite…cute & spunky!

[name]Paige[/name] [name]Jean[/name] doesn’t work for me because they are both only 1 syllable & make it sound too choppy

[name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is my 2nd favorite…classic & pretty

[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is very fun & cute too

[name]Julie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is too much for me

[name]Nicole[/name] [name]Jean[/name] doesn’t flow good

[name]Carly[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is just ok, I’m not a big fan if [name]Carly[/name] seems like it wouldn’t age well

[name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is nice, I love [name]Miriam[/name] but not with [name]Jean[/name]…makes it feel too old

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is also nice, but with a name as popular as [name]Elizabeth[/name] I’d rather see a fun mn with it

Good luck & congrats!

[name]How[/name] amazing would [name]Juniper[/name] [name]Jean[/name] be? (per a suggestion above). [name]Juniper[/name] was on my longer list. I like [name]Miriam[/name] too.

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name]! [name]Audrina[/name] is a favorite of mine  I think it is just wonderful

I love the suggestion of [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Jean[/name]! Out of your list [name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is my favorite, but the name [name]Audrina[/name] makes me think of The Hills. Other thoughts inspired by [name]Audrina[/name]:
[name]Autumn[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Audra[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Adria[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
[name]Andrea[/name] [name]Jean[/name]
Dreama [name]Jean[/name]

[name]Molly[/name] [name]Jean[/name] is beautiful. My middle name is [name]Jean[/name] and so is my daughters…[name]Alyssa[/name] [name]Jean[/name].

I like [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] the best…

Have you considered [name]Jeanne[/name]? Unless having the exact spelling as your gm (which I can understand) I think [name]Jeanne[/name] is a very nice feminine take on [name]Jean[/name].

I really like your choices of [name]Miram[/name], [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name]. All are sophisiticated feminine choices to go with the cute short [name]Jean[/name] (or [name]Jeanne[/name]!) I also like the name [name]Paige[/name] but think it needs something to help it flow with [name]Jean[/name], maybe [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jeanne[/name] [name]Paige[/name]?

  1. [name]Audrina[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - very pretty!
  2. [name]Molly[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - pretty but it sounds like a name for a cowgirl lol
  3. [name]Paige[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - ok, don’t love the flow
  4. [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - my favourite, if I heard this name I’d think of someone very beautiful
  5. [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - only if you spell [name]Jean[/name] as “[name]Jeanne[/name]” instead
  6. [name]Julie[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - no way
  7. [name]Nicole[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - snooze
  8. [name]Carly[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - I don’t like this combination, it sounds good but isn’t very elegant or pretty.
  9. [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - again, only good with “[name]Jeanne[/name]”
  10. [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name] - Pretty

I think the names that are a little more european/feminine sounding should be paired with the “[name]Jeanne[/name]” spelling so they make sense together. Overall great list, and I’m sure your daughter will be very proud to have a name that honours 2 women in her family!

I love [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name] and I like [name]Miriam[/name] [name]Jean[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name] [name]Jean[/name]. I think [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Jean[/name] would be lovely!

I love [name]Molly[/name], [name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name] with [name]Jean[/name].

Thank you everyone. I am just waiting on my husband to do his top ten list so we can discuss and work on a joint list. I know he likes a bunch of the names on my list as we have been discussing names for weeks! I am excited to get this girlie named! Everyone’s comments are so helpful, it is nice to have new perspectives.
