ok i’ve posted plenty of polls before and had plenty of shortlists… but i want to basically start over. i’m having the hardest time. basically i’ve imposed a lot of rules for myself and it’s hard finding names within those parameters that go well with my older daughter’s name:

i’m not going to list all my rules, because i’ll sound insane. and i want to welcome any suggestions. the only thing is the last name begins with “N” so nothing that ends with “N.” combo suggestions welcome as well! here are a few names i’ve loved and reasons they’ve struck out:

[name_f]Beverly[/name_f]- hate nicknames, doesn’t go well with Alora
[name_f]Antoinette[/name_f] (as a middle)- still love this

First off - maybe I am wrong here - but - I think [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] ends with the E sound ([name_u]Del[/name_u] [name_u]Fee[/name_u] Knee). If si that could still be in!
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] is beautiful. Being two syllables does it have to have a nn? If you hate [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] then just Wint is sweet. MN ideas; [name_u]Winter[/name_u] - [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]? You are right it is a tough one to pair.
What about [name_f]Coralina[/name_f] to avoid the N ending?

oh it’s not that i dislike particular nicknames, i just don’t like them at all! [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is more of a combo issue, i’ve had problems finding a good middle. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] could be a contender though.
i do like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] and [name_f]Coral[/name_f], but feel like [name_f]Coral[/name_f] is very similar to Alora…
i like [name_f]Delphia[/name_f]! it’s [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] without the ‘N’ sound. i like [name_f]Odessa[/name_f] too but there’s a town near my hometown named that (and i’ll prob be moving back home soon.) so that kinda detracts.
hmm i like all the ones here that seem too similar to Alora, lol. like [name_f]Elora[/name_f] and [name_f]Acadia[/name_f], and [name_u]Nila[/name_u]. i’m afraid of being too matchy.
