I recently found out that I’m expecting again and need some help with my name list. I have a son named [name]Elliott[/name] [name]James[/name] and I would like the names to go well together. I tend to like underused classics, and naturey names that aren’t too frilly.
I also like [name]Blythe[/name], but maybe more as a middle name. my favorite name is [name]Gwen[/name], but I’m not sure about using that on its own. I like [name]Gwendolen[/name], but it feels a bit princessy to me, and that’s not really my style. Is it princessy? I feel like I’ve looked at every name and just can’t find what I’m looking for.
I am looking for suggestions so I can add to my list. Looking at alphabetical name lists over and over is making my eyes hurt, and I’m pretty sure I’m passing up a lot of great names.
My only criteria is that it not be too popular (ideally out of the top 200), and not a virtue name.

[name]Gwendolen[/name] - Not my favorite, it seems a bit dated, [name]IMO[/name]. The Gw- sound is cool but it just seems a little off.
[name]Genevieve[/name] - I love this one, it’s a great classic but still vintage and feminine.
[name]Daphne[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this too, it sounds so exotic and I’ve never met a little [name]Daphne[/name]!

[name]Gwyneth[/name] is a name I really like, and has been on and off of my list several times. I think for me though, it’s just too tied to [name]Gwyneth[/name] Paltrow. I also love [name]Willa[/name], but my husband vetoed it.
[name]Elliott[/name] [name]James[/name] is really a perfect name!! I like the names on your list. I love [name]Gwendolyn[/name], but not [name]Gwen[/name]. [name]Daphne[/name] is my favorite from your list. So gorgeous! Here are a few more you might like:
