Suggestions, please!

Hello! This is my first post and I fear it may be a tad long, so please forgive me☺
I am about 19 weeks along with my second child (the sex will be a surprise) and the idea of choosing a name is causing me some anxiety. I have a 2 ½ year old son and I adore his name – [name]Elias[/name] Tadeusz ________ (Tadeusz is a Polish family name).
As an aside, I just want to mention that I found the name [name]Elias[/name] several years ago on an obscure biblical name website and was surprised to find it becoming more prevalent when I started searching for names this time around.
Nevertheless, we continue to receive compliments on his name, and I simply want to find a name that I love as much for [name]Elias[/name]’ sibling.

I thought I would start by asking for suggestions on boy names as I struggle with these the most. Some names I have considered are:

[name]Luke[/name] – This has always been my number 1 boy name… I just don’t know if it is too plain next to [name]Elias[/name] and/or too popular.
[name]Jude[/name] – Another favorite… but I fear that it might become too trendy?
[name]Emory[/name] – I like this name but I think it’s been taken over by girls and I don’t want to go with a unisex name.
[name]Evander[/name] – I like this name but I’m not sure I love it.
[name]Ebon[/name] – Another one I really like, but is it too obscure?
[name]Oren[/name] - Same as with [name]Ebon[/name]
[name]Ari[/name] – Too feminine? Does it feel incomplete?
[name]Lev[/name] – This has caught my eye… but not sure if I love it

We would like to go with another Polish middle name but that’s not set in stone. Some possibilities:
[name]Piotr[/name]
[name]Oskar[/name]
[name]Zenon[/name]
Franciszek

I would love to hear your thoughts and get more suggestions- the more the better! Thank you

[name]How[/name] about another biblical name that is not too common? I do think that perhaps [name]Luke[/name] is too plain? I agree, boys names are hard! Here are some suggestions -

[name]Abner[/name]
[name]Abel[/name]
[name]Amos[/name]
[name]Asher[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] (I like this but agree that perhaps it’s increasing in popularity)

Other names that spring to mind with [name]Elias[/name] (some are also biblical) are -

[name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Abraham[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name]
[name]Fergus[/name] (perhaps to many ‘s’ sounds)
[name]Solomon[/name]
[name]Ignatius[/name] (I have a crush on this at the moment)
[name]Auberon[/name]
[name]Caleb[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Levi[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Jonathan[/name] (similar in meaning to [name]Elias[/name])
[name]Theodore[/name] (again, has a similar meaning to [name]Elias[/name])
[name]Noah[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name]
[name]Tobias[/name]
[name]Isaac[/name]

I won’t even try to comment on middle names because I’ve no idea about Polish names! Good luck with the hunt, hope this has helped.

I was trying to get a fix on your family heritage. Names like [name]Lev[/name], [name]Ari[/name], [name]Oren[/name] and [name]Ebon[/name] are 100% Jewish, but [name]Thaddeus[/name], [name]Luke[/name], [name]Francis[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] are Catholic. If your famy is blended, excellent, but if you’re not Jewish I wouldn’t use those first four names.

I think [name]Luke[/name] is nice, but it does feel plain next to [name]Elias[/name]. [name]Jude[/name] is trendy, and [name]Emory[/name]-with-an-O is still masculine but I don’t think it pairs well with [name]Elias[/name]. [name]Evander[/name] is cool but quite Greek/Scottish, and do you want another E name?

[name]Jonas[/name]
[name]Silas[/name]
[name]Leo[/name] / [name]Lionel[/name]
[name]Julian[/name]
[name]Dominic[/name]
[name]Phineas[/name]
[name]Abram[/name]
[name]Cyrus[/name]
[name]Raphael[/name]
[name]Simon[/name]
[name]Josiah[/name]
[name]Gideon[/name]
[name]Barnaby[/name]
[name]Justus[/name]
[name]Lucian[/name]
[name]Titus[/name]

Thank you for the suggestions!
cbuxton, I really like [name]Asher[/name] and [name]Finn[/name], unfortunately they won’t go too well with our last name (starts with F, ends with er). [name]Felix[/name] is great but we had a cat named [name]Felix[/name] and that would be a bit odd:D I hadn’t thought about [name]Ignatius[/name] at all but now that you mention it, I think it might be growing on me! [name]Theodore[/name] is also a very lovely name.
[name]Blade[/name], it’s funny that you mention another baby with an E name… I have noticed that I tend to gravitate toward the E names:) I do love [name]Phineas[/name] but, again, it won’t work with our last name. My mother had suggested [name]Gideon[/name] previously, so I might revisit that one. [name]Raphael[/name] is one that I hadn’t considered - it’s quite nice.
Thank you so much for these ideas! Any other thoughts and suggestions would be wonderful:)
