Currently 28 weeks with baby boy #2, first son is [name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Jax[/name]. Im having a terrible! terrible! time deciding on a first name!!! I can’t keep from changing my mind. With the first, we agreed before we even knew it was a boy and that was that.
This time, I just can’t find what Im looking for in a first name. Something thats classic- kinda old, not so trendy (I know [name]Sebastian[/name] is popular, but I dont think its trendy). Not really looking for names that are way popular, or overly “modern” but open to suggestions either way. [name]Just[/name], something that “goes” with older brothers name.
Middle name will be Bane (husband insists), but because he insists, I pretty much can use whatever first name I want.Last name is Kraft.
ps. I absolutey HATE nicknames! Im of the camp that you should name your baby what you are going to call them, just my opinion though
Ruled out by hubby &/or me or cant use because of family (we both have HUGE extended families)

[name]Kinda[/name] liking:
[name]Oliver[/name] (can so see my [name]MIL[/name] calling him [name]Ollie[/name] all the time! the thought drives me nuts)
[name]Cullen[/name] (too twilight ???, i didnt mind the books i guess)
[name]Declan[/name] (i grew up having to pronounce my name alllllll the time, I can so see people calling him De-Clan, plus newphew is [name]Dylon[/name], and my bro is [name]Darrin[/name]: all kinda to similar for me)
[name]Uriah[/name] (kinda too out there for where we live)
Allister (same problem as [name]Uriah[/name])

REALLLLLLLLLLLY would appreciate any suggestions, advice, thoughts on the names which are in the liking pile and what you think of them as a sib-set! thanks in advance!
[name]Oliver[/name] is really nice and I think goes well with sebastain, My dd is [name]Indiana[/name] and she hates getting [name]Indi[/name], she corrects people in di a na hahaha make it clear he is oliver not ollie and there shouldnt be a problem
I love [name]Landon[/name], [name]Abel[/name] and [name]Uriah[/name] from your list, but I agree with the above poster who said that [name]Dexter[/name] doesn’t sound modern. I think [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Dexter[/name] sound fabulous together!
Some other ideas:
[name]Emmett[/name]
[name]Hudson[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Phineas[/name] (finEus, or too similar to [name]Felix[/name]-[name]Finn[/name]?)
[name]Ronan[/name]
[name]Solomon[/name]
These are just some ideas, sorry I’m not good with guessing names of the same style; let me know what you choose!
[name]Dexter[/name]! I also like [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Cullen[/name] (I don’t think anyone should let movies/books “ruin” a perfectly good name, honestly).
I like [name]Oliver[/name]…
[name]Dexter[/name] reminds me of The [name]Philadelphia[/name] [name]Story[/name] and makes me smile.
Is [name]Milo[/name] trendy/ new?
[name]How[/name] about [name]Josiah[/name]?
[name]ITA[/name] w a previous poster who suggested that the little one can always ‘correct’ - even politely! - to full name (I grew up doing so).
I think [name]Oliver[/name] is the “best fit” with [name]Sebastian[/name]. [name]Both[/name] have an English gentleman air about them. Here are some other suggestions.
From your “maybe” list I like the following best with [name]Sebastian[/name]-- [name]Oliver[/name] and Allister (although I prefer [name]Alastair[/name]). Many of the other names seem a little short or just not in the same “vibe” as [name]Sebastian[/name]. I like [name]Mischa[/name]'s suggestions above. Here are a few more:
I love, love, love [name]Rourke[/name] and no one else ever does!!! I think [name]Sebastian[/name] and [name]Rourke[/name] would be awesome and you could almost guarantee you’d never meet another [name]Rourke[/name] lol. [name]Dexter[/name] is the only other one that I like from the list and I actually think it goes really well with [name]Sebastian[/name].
