Hey [name_u]Haley[/name_u]! Maybe you should post your list so we know what not to suggest because you already have it. I have a pretty good idea what you have stored away, but not completely.
Anyway, I have a few ideas.
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]: Strikingly vintage and the nickname seem right up your alley too. [name_f]Tabby[/name_f], [name_f]Tibby[/name_f], etc.
[name_f]Kitty[/name_f]: I could totally see you with a little girl named [name_f]Kitty[/name_f]. Maybe it’s a little too cutesy, but sounds like it belongs in your adorable nickname name club, haha.
[name_f]Thea[/name_f]: I guess it’s not really vintage, but it’s sounds vintage at least to me. I have a soft spot for [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
[name_f]Dixie[/name_f]: maybe a little more sassy than sweet, but I kind of have a crush on [name_f]Dixie[/name_f] right now. It’s certainly cute!
[name_f]Prudence[/name_f]: the very best of both vintage and clunky! Yet I think [name_f]Prudence[/name_f] is coming back into vogue. It’s got the charming sort of clunk that I see in your faves like [name_f]Doris[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f].
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]/[name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]: like [name_f]Prudence[/name_f], it’s vintage with a taste of clunk (not as much as [name_f]Prudence[/name_f])
[name_f]Effie[/name_f]: someone on here named a baby girl [name_f]Effie[/name_f], and I was intrigued. It’s strikes me as vintage and cutesy.
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]: I know you near it all over Nameberry, but it sounds old fashioned and is also a flower. Something to consider.
Lissy: hey, it’s my nickname, but I could see it as a standalone (at least on your list)
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]: a little clunky, at least in sound, and sort of old-world feeling. Yet it’s a gem name, so it fits in pretty fabulously with other flower and gem names.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]: though it’s hot on NB, I think the outside world sees [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] as old fashioned, and it is definitely vintage. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] also sounds nicknamey/cutesy even though it’s really not.
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]: clunk clunk clunk what’s that noise? It’s [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. Charmingly left in the nineteenth century, but also gearing up for a comeback.
[name_f]Susan[/name_f]: here we go- it’s old fashioned (or at least dated), nickname [name_f]Susy[/name_f] is cutesy, and [name_m]Black[/name_m]-eyed [name_f]Susan[/name_f] checks off the flower category. Sounds like a pretty good fit.
Gosh, Hales, your list is so easy to add to, lol.
