A cockapoo? I love cockapoos! I’m sending [name]Kyra[/name] a virtual squeaky toy now. —Oh man…she now loves you! Thank you, [name]Jill[/name]! I wish I could show you a picture of her…she is just a doll! Actually…picture an Ewok and make it super cute. That’s our [name]Kyra[/name] We’re going as Han Solo, [name]Princess[/name] [name]Leia[/name], and an Ewok for Halloween
[name]Adeline[/name] Barch? (I love [name]Adeline[/name]!) --Yup, that’s not how you spell our last name, but that’s exactly how it sounds. ([name]Adeline[/name] Barch is quite the german name
Which pronunciation do you all like best? My brain defaults to [name]Add[/name]-a-line because that’s how my grandma says it. [name]Do[/name] you like it that way? I think that if I would name a daughter that, I wouldn’t correct people. I don’t think it bothers me. But I did grow up with a last name that was pronounced all sorts of ways. The americans in my family said it one way and the Italians (my grandparents have a thick accent) a different way…It was to the point that I would even pronounce it 2 different ways. Anyways…what do you think?
With the add-uh-leen pronunciation: (–never thought of this pronunciation:)
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Camille[/name] Barch*** Oh, I like!
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Mireille[/name] Barch (meer-AY)**
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Simone[/name] Barch (although I think of the movie [name]Simon[/name] [name]Birch[/name])
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name] Barch**
[name]Add[/name]-uh-line:
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Camille[/name] Barch ***
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] Barch*
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Frances[/name] Barch**
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Tamsin[/name] Barch -hmm…I dunno about [name]Tamsin[/name]…I’ll look it up
[name]Add[/name]-uh-lynn:
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Camille[/name] Barch***
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Daisy[/name] Barch
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Hazel[/name] Barch***
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] Barch (although the N of [name]Adeline[/name] attaches a bit to [name]Ivy[/name])–you’re right
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Violet[/name] Barch***
Longer middles:
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] Barch - OMG, I love!!!
[name]Adeline[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] Barch (popular, as you know)
Your last name is tricky with [name]Adeline[/name]'s middles, because I love middle names with two syllables when [name]Adeline[/name]'s up front, and I had to be careful of names with “ar” sounds, as well as P and B sounds. Have you found that issue, too? (Cool last name, though!) --Yeah, I have noticed. There are some B names (like [name]Bennett[/name]) That we like, but just don’t really like with Barch. Thanks for thinking its cool, though! I thought it was a dramatic step backwards in coolness compared to my maiden name…so I’m glad to see that its still cool
I hope that you and Miss Krya, the charismatic cockapoo, have a great night!
