Sullivan, Callum, Noah, Liam, Luke, Christian, or William?

We agreed on [name]Liam[/name] long ago. DH admits now that he really does not like it. DH is over the top finicky. However, he says he likes [name]Noah[/name] now. [name]Noah[/name] has been on my baby name list since I was a little girl myself. (And I am over 40, so that is a long time). I think my favorite name would be [name]Sullivan[/name] with [name]Callum[/name] as a second choice. I love the whole list. [name]Sullivan[/name] does not really go with the last name, which happens to be a similar Irish surname. [name]Sullivan[/name] was my grandmother’s maiden name and I knew someone named [name]Sullivan[/name] once and always loved it. Now I met a baby recently at Babies R Us named [name]Sullivan[/name] and felt regret that I never used such a great name.

While I really like [name]Luke[/name] and [name]William[/name], I have cousins that have used those names now. So while I am free to use them, it might be better to try to find a different name. They all said it was fine, but you know. If I have another I like just as much, that might be better.

All these names pretty much have been on my list since I was little myself. Except [name]William[/name]. [name]William[/name] has only been on my list for maybe 12 years. And [name]Liam[/name] for about 7 or so years.

What do you think? Oh, and the middle name is set in stone, and goes fine with all these names. It is just a bland classic family namesake name. But one that means a lot to us.

[name]Love[/name] both [name]Sullivan[/name] and [name]Callum[/name]! The others are nms, although [name]William[/name] is very handsome.

I really like [name]Sullivan[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Liam[/name] and [name]William[/name] (maybe we have a thing for double L’s).

[name]Liam[/name] is really popular (but not in a trendy way). It’s so classic though. You could definitely do [name]William[/name], nn [name]Liam[/name].
[name]Callum[/name] is one of my all-time favourites (it’s in my top 3). I love the meaning, and I think nn [name]Cal[/name] is really cool.
[name]Sullivan[/name] is great! Fairly unexpected, but not un-familiar. However, if it doesn’t sound right, maybe you should let it go.

I find [name]Noah[/name], [name]Luke[/name] and [name]Christian[/name] to be slightly boring, and slightly over-done. They’re great names, but there’s nothing special or stand-out to me about them. Especially if you were pairing them with a common middle.

Favorites: [name]Liam[/name] and [name]William[/name]. Which, if you were looking for the best of both worlds: you can always use [name]Liam[/name] as a nn for [name]William[/name].

I also really like [name]Sullivan[/name] (because I know a little boy with that name and he is just the cutest thing) but names are all about flow and if it doesn’t sound right, it probably isn’t right for you.

[name]Luke[/name] is just okay for me though I think I would like it better if it were a nn for [name]Lucas[/name]. Really the only two I don’t like are [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Callum[/name].

I like [name]Noah[/name] and [name]William[/name].

I don’t like [name]Liam[/name] at all, but that’s because of a bad personal association.

The others are OK but not to my personal tastes.
