Which of these season names is your favourite? What are you favourite combos for them?
Mine are [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Elke[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
I just love the feel of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] as a name, and the nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]. My favorite combo for it is actually [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] best, then [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], then [name_f]Summer[/name_f]. I really love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Elora[/name_f] for [name_u]Winter[/name_u], and maybe [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] I’m not really sure, maybe [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]? I also don’t know for [name_f]Summer[/name_f]–maybe [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] feel very summery to me. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] might be nice?
I’m stuck between [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u], but I definitely feel like they’re the more whimsical and beautiful seasons and names. [name_f]Summer[/name_f]'s nice enough, but it’s less magical and more normal to me. I haven’t really thought much about using them as firsts. I agree that [name_f]Faye[/name_f] (or [name_f]Fae[/name_f]) fits really well with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
[name_m]Just[/name_m] off the top of my head I’d go for:
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] or [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] is my favourite, then [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] & [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
My favourites are [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] & [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]![name_f]Autumn[/name_f]![name_f]Autumn[/name_f]! Gorgeous name and my favorite season. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f].
I definitely like [name_f]Summer[/name_f] the best. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] would be second and then [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Elke[/name_f].
Out of [name_f]Summer[/name_f], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], and [name_u]Winter[/name_u], I like [name_f]Summer[/name_f] the best. I feel like it’s underused and full of good memories. However, I would reconsider [name_f]Faye[/name_f] in the middle name spot, since [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] reminded me of the song “[name_f]Summer[/name_f] Nights” from Grease, where the keep repeating the line “summer days, drifting away”. It’s not really a bad connotation though.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]…
A toss between [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. I liked [name_f]Summer[/name_f] but it’s lost some of it’s luster for me.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are top choices but as middle names I like [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f].
Another one I like is [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
I hate the summer season and just hot/too warm weather in general so I’m not a fan of the name [name_f]Summer[/name_f] at all (I like the name [name_f]Spring[/name_f] though), but I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u]!!!
The colder seasons are my favorite! [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]'s my favorite season (winter my second) but I actually prefer the name [name_u]Winter[/name_u] with [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] being a close second! I’d use either of them as first names if they weren’t so/becoming so popular.
I don’t really have a favorite combo because there’s just too many I love to choose from!
I personally love [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] - with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] coming in second place. I like: [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphina[/name_f], [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Emelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]! Good luck!
I prefer [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. Maybe because it’s my favorite season or it just evokes such a lovely image when I think of it (Christmastime, hot cocoa on a snowy day, walking over fresh snow, ice skating, making snow angels under the moonlight). I find [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] as names kind of dated. To me, they feel as if they had their day in the 90s and I kind of lump them in with other 90s names that I’m somewhat over. However, I just find [name_u]Winter[/name_u] adorable and I think [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] as a nickname (though I even prefer just [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]) is divine.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] for sure. [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
I feel the same - which is funny, because I rather vehemently detest the season; the only images it conjures for me are the onset of respiratory plagues, new bruises, and the distinct possibility of a broken arm or a concussion. (Minnesota winters are brutal and completely unforgiving when you have poor balance and reflexes.) As a name, though, I love Winter and find Summer and Autumn kind of blah in a ‘been there, done that’ way. There’s nothing wrong with them, and I don’t mind them as middles, but they are somewhat past their peak now, whereas Winter hasn’t been beaten to death yet.
Actually, the heroine of my NaNoWriMo project last year was named Winter Rose, which remains my favorite combo. I quite like someone else’s suggestion of Winter Luna, though. Or Winter Skye.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u], I love the season and the nickname [name_u]Win[/name_u].
My favorite season name for a girl is actually [name_f]Spring[/name_f]. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] feels more like a boy’s name, and [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] and [name_f]Summer[/name_f] seem somewhat dated.
I like all the season names, though I prefer [name_u]Winter[/name_u] for a male.
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is pretty and reminds me of lemonade on the lawn.
[name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] sounds odd to me, both nice names, but just odd together.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] [name_f]Elke[/name_f] is fine.
I would go with [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f].
