the family will be going to cape cod and myrtle beach this summer. soleil was raised on the beach with her siblings, and she loves that she gets to give her children the same experience. she likes to collect seashells and paddleboard. aeron was raised in the outer banks, and has always loved to boat. he takes his kids tubing near myrtle beach every year, and enjoys watching them have fun. bethany, their oldest, has loved to surf since she was 4 years old. her uncle used to take her surfing when she was very small, and she developed a passion for it. she is upbeat and a natural caregiver who enjoys spending time with her little sister, allegra. this summer, she is looking for love and friendship. she will have a summer fling with a man named vicente, who also loves to surf. he is a foreign exchange student from chile. august is an artist who loves to paint by the beach. this summer, he is taking his partner brighton to cape cod with them. brighton is a photographer who is excited to take lots of pictures in cape cod. august gets along well with his younger brother james, the most mellow out of the younger three boys. allegra got her name while her mother was pregnant in haiti. her parents met a radiant young woman named allegra who helped them out when they were visiting there. she is just as radiant as her namesake. she loves to boat and make friendship bracelets with her siblings. people often remark that she doesn’t look like a member of the family, since they all have golden blonde hair, while she is a ginger. she’s very excited for the summer trip to cape cod to stay in their large beach house. elio and james may look similar, but are quite different. elio is very athletic and enjoys surfing with his sister, bethany. he is outgoing and has many friends. his long, blond hair is always in his eyes, and he is an enjoyer of vineyard vines and ralph lauren polos. on the other hand, james is what people would describe as “slightly emo”. he likes listening to cavetown and playing his guitar. his long blond hair is always slightly tangled and also in his eyes. he normally isn’t a huge fan of the summer beach trips, but this time his boyfriend sebastian is accompanying the family, which makes james very happy. asa is the baby of the family. he’s the youngest son, and very beloved. many people remark that asa is like a mini elio, which is partially true. he also loves sports and has fluffy blond hair, but he also loves to read. asa is excited to read by the beach and play some beach volleyball with his friends from cape cod, serena, finn, and josh. he is currently reading “we were liars,” which suspiciously reminds him a lot of his family. he is also looking forward to late night beach walks with his mom.
