Bit of a tag along with my last thread about [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], but, ideally, S/O and I would like to have 3 kids, and I know they won’t likely be all girls, but, just for fun - what name would you choose to complete my dream girls set - [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f] & __________?
I feel like names that are known but sort of quirky is the perfect fit for you! I loved [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], & [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] for you!
I commented on your other post, but I’m obsessed with your choices! I think we have very similar taste in girl’s names as most of these are on my long and short lists lol. I love all of these with [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f], so it was impossible to choose one, but I voted for [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f] and [name_f]Honey[/name_f]. I like that these names have a different ending sound than [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] but end in a “Y” like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]- I don’t know why, but that little detail really rounds out the sibset, imo.
Seriously though, you couldn’t go wrong with any of these!
I like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f].
Maisie to me splits the difference between [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]’s modern vibe and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]’s vintage vibe as it is technically a vintage name but has come into style in recent years.
@futuremama - Thanks!! I do adore [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], I feel like each of the three have a distinct feel, but yet feel similar at the same time, if that makes sense?
@sophia_elena Thank you, I feel like that is a good fit for me too!
@rosajune Thank you so much We must have similar tastes! LOL I’d love to swap long lists one day, if you’d like!
@Rachelhaydenberk That’s an excellent point about [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] as a set! Thanks!
@Greyblue I had a feeling you’d like [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] in there! Thank you!!
@katinka Thank you!! And no , S/O deemed [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] to be too “weird” and [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] we like, but he doesn’t think he can picture himself going to the park and telling [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] to be careful on the climbers. I’m working on him though! As it stands, [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] and [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] are on the table as middle names still (might push my luck and try for [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Pixie[/name_f]? ).
I think any of these could work with [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f], they’re all lovely! Here’s my reasoning behind the ones I voted for:
Tallulah - I agree with previous posters that this makes the set feel cohesive, while each name is distinct at the same time.
Honey - This is the one I gravitate towards most, but maybe too similar to [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]?
Ruby - This is a word name like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], but I’ve known so many Rubys that it doesn’t feel too wordy and leave [name_f]Florence[/name_f] out. It has a certain vintage charm, too.
Daisy - Inbetween [name_f]Honey[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]. I’ve been crushing on this lately!
I love [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] & [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] from your list. I think that I’ve told you before the [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] nn [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] are both in my top three. I really adore [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] & [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] too . That all being said, [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], [name_f]Florence[/name_f] & [name_f]Dottie[/name_f] really stood out to me as the best sib set. Super cute!
let me get my long list cleaned up and updated, and we’ll definitely swap! I’ve been obsessing over girls names and just love getting ideas! also, [name_f]Pixie[/name_f] is another guilty pleasure of mine
