I posted a thread some days ago with a long list of names but now I don’t know if I like those anymore. This is so much harder than I thought, I think I’m not a name expert!
I’m having my first child, due in [name]March[/name]! I’m thinking a lot about names, and what name would I like to name my baby, but I’m having a hard time!
I made a shorter list about the names I’m in love with! But I have no clue about middle names, so I need help choosing mn for these names! All help is welcome! [name]Don[/name]'t be afraid about being honest and let me know what you think about these names!
[name]Riley[/name]
[name]Zoey[/name]
[name]Zarah[/name] / [name]Zara[/name]
[name]Kylie[/name]
[name]Chloe[/name]
[name]Leah[/name]
[name]Kaylee[/name]
[name]Ashtyn[/name] (not sure about this one, but daddy loves it)
[name]Riley[/name] - I love this name.
[name]Zoey[/name] - dog name (I watch too much CTFXC on Youtube)
[name]Zarah[/name] / [name]Zara[/name] - [name]Zara[/name] sounds very elegant to me. I like it.
[name]Kylie[/name] - not a fan
[name]Chloe[/name] - cute
[name]Leah[/name] - love this name but I wish it wasn’t so overused.
[name]Kaylee[/name] - cute
[name]Ashtyn[/name] (not sure about this one, but daddy loves it) - I do not like it at all. Sorry Dad!
[name]Carson[/name] - love it!
[name]Noah[/name] - too overused
[name]Brantley[/name] - sounds made-up to me
[name]Mason[/name] - cute
[name]Chase[/name] - like it a lot
[name]Parker[/name] (Dad’s pick) - also like it
[name]Bryson[/name] (Dad’s favorite) - I prefer [name]Bryce[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name] - totally reminds me of an old man.
I would suggest [name]Riley[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Kaylee[/name] [name]Marie[/name], [name]Leah[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Carson[/name] [name]James[/name], [name]Chase[/name] [name]Matthew[/name], [name]Parker[/name] [name]Reid[/name] and [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Parker[/name] out of your names.
I like [name]Leah[/name], [name]Kylie[/name], and [name]Zara[/name] best with your last name - [name]Ashtyn[/name] (aside from the feminizing y…) is awfully rhyme-y.
With the boys, i’d avoid anything ending in -on too (or the same sound) for the same reason as [name]Ashtyn[/name]. [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Parker[/name] work nicely. [name]Brantley[/name] [name]Weston[/name] sounds ok, but it also comes across as desperately WASP-y to me, like a spoiled rich kid from Gossip Girl or something like that. [name]Noah[/name] or [name]Parker[/name] sound more like real people.
For middles…hmm. [name]Kylie[/name] needs something solid in the middle, like [name]Elizabeth[/name]. [name]Leah[/name] can handle something funkier, like…[name]Persephone[/name]? not sure. [name]Zara[/name] could go either way. Not sure about the boys. [name]Do[/name] you have any family names or other potential sources of inspiration for meaningful middles?
It was so good to hear your oppinion! It’s similar to mine and I’m anxious to show my bf this!
From all the suggestions [name]Carson[/name] [name]James[/name] was deffinitly my favorite, and I’m highly considering that name for a boy! [name]Parker[/name] [name]Reid[/name] is also cute!
For girls my favorites are [name]Zara[/name] and [name]Riley[/name]! But I can’t seem to find a middle name that I love!
[name]Ashtyn[/name] glad you don’t like, cuz I do not like it at all. I don’t even know where this came from. I never heard it before he came home with it… too made up and weird to me.
Thank you so much for all the opinions you gave me! I have 2 brothers [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Aidan[/name] and [name]Roman[/name] [name]Leo[/name], but with the names I’m considering don’t really know where to fir any of those! My dad’s name is [name]Preston[/name] [name]Michael[/name] so at first I was considering using [name]Preston[/name], but my cousin used it for her son so is out of the picture…
Personally would not do [name]Carson[/name], [name]Mason[/name], or [name]Bryson[/name] because with [name]Weston[/name] as a last name - it’s very “son” heavy. [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Weston[/name] is my favorite of your choices. For girls - [name]Chloe[/name], zara, or zoey with your last name. [name]Ashtyn[/name] looks odd. At least spell it [name]Ashton[/name].
[name]Riley[/name]-dislike
[name]Zoey[/name]-dislike but better without the y
[name]Zarah[/name] / [name]Zara[/name]- [name]Zara[/name] I like
[name]Kylie[/name] -dislike
[name]Chloe[/name]-dislike
[name]Leah[/name]-like but doesn’t it mean something like cows bottom? and also at the bottom of your post it said thanks,[name]Leah[/name]. So is that your name?
[name]Kaylee[/name]-dislike but especially this spelling. If you’re going to use it then what about [name]Kayleigh[/name].
[name]Ashtyn[/name]-dislike and sounds bad with your last name.
Suggestions:
[name]Cleo[/name] (like [name]Chloe[/name] but not as popular)
[name]Mikaela[/name] or [name]Michaela[/name]
[name]Cassie[/name] or [name]Cassia[/name]
[name]Georgie[/name]
[name]Alexis[/name] or [name]Alexa[/name]
[name]Elektra[/name]
Tell me which ones you like and I can suggest middles for you.
I like [name]Zara[/name] for a girl for you. [name]How[/name] about [name]Zara[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Weston[/name]? [name]Zara[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]Weston[/name]? Something one or three syllables would work best.
For boys, I like [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Chase[/name]. To Incorporate dad’s picks, how about [name]Noah[/name] [name]Parker[/name] [name]Weston[/name]? I alsolike [name]Chase[/name] [name]Maxwell[/name] [name]Weston[/name].
