Most popular surname names are English/Irish or-son ending names.

What do you think of surname names of Italian, Latin or Slavic origin?

[name]Ricci[/name]
Tizzio

Any others? Maybe some in your own family tree?

I would only consider a surname that had some family significance, but I could definitely see some of the choices that you suggested working, [name]Perez[/name], Roselli, [name]Ricci[/name] in particular.

Using my family tree, I think these could work if I wanted to use them:

[name]Allegra[/name] (I do plan to use this one, as it’s the original spelling of my maiden name, before my great-grandfather Anglicized it)
Monaco
[name]DaVia[/name] /[name]Davia[/name]
Fidemi
Masi
Gulisano
[name]Pavlo[/name]

I’ve always thought [name]Rosen[/name] would make an awesome first name. Unisex even. I can imagine it on a girl if you don’t want to go as girlie as [name]Rose[/name] or [name]Rosalie[/name] or on a guy with the nickname [name]Ren[/name].

Or the nickname [name]Zen[/name]!

[name]Rosen[/name] is awesome on a girl!

Bonamy is a family name and on my boy list. I’d only use it as a mn for a girl because I don’t like the potential nn’s- [name]Bonnie[/name] & [name]Amy[/name]. For a boy, I like the nn [name]Ami[/name] “aw-mee”

Another family name I love is [name]Ramsey[/name]

Not family names but I love
Beringer
[name]Germaine[/name]
Ballantine

My maiden name is [name]Dalton[/name], my married name will be [name]Page[/name]. My mom’s maiden name Rueger (ree-grr) might be kind of cool.
