I’m in love with the name [name]Scarlett[/name], and it would easily be my pick
if it didn’t take on a whole other meaning combined with what her surname will be;
[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Hughes[/name], it sounds like a color description, opinions please? I’ve asked hubby if we can change our surname
but he won’t be in it :-/

It took me a second to see what the problem was with that combo, it didn’t automatically come to mind. And even after I realized, it didn’t strike me as something that would pose a huge problem, unless it really bothers you. It’s not like “[name]Rocky[/name] [name]Rhodes[/name]” or anything that obvious.
I’m afraid I find it very obvious and jokey. 
Sorry, but I’d eliminate all color names and keep looking.

I agree! I actually sort of like the connection. I’m usually not a fan of [name]Scarlett[/name] but [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Hughes[/name] sounds so sweet.

Not sure everyone would immediately notice, but probably over time people would realise - “hey, wait a minute, [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Hughes[/name]? That’s like…”

Thank you for all your replies, it did worry me that it would be seen as an oversight, I’m pleased you guys see it as sweet rather than an embarrassing faux pas. My partner liked it in the first place (especially when I told him it could be worse, I could want to name his son [name]Cash[/name] [name]Hughes[/name];)) so I think we have our girls name and I think it fits lovely with our daughter [name]Bronte[/name]. I should probably tell you I am only 10 weeks pregnant, if I keep looking at this website it will likely change several times again
