Surnames for Middle name twins

We think we have our girl names narrowed down (twins not sure on gender yet) to [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. We wanted classic easy to spell, easy to pronounce names. I love surnames as first names but our last name is a traditional first name, so didn’t want to confuse anyone! But I would love a surname for the middle name. I like

[name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Halston[/name_u]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] McCall

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Out of the four names, McCall and [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] are my favorites, and I think they would fit really well together! If you don’t want to switch the sets, I prefer [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_u]Halston[/name_u] a touch more.

I would suggest looking at your own family tree for ideas! I prefer [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] McCall of the options you listed.

Ok this makes sense! I wasn’t totally sure from the initial post. I like the first combo: [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] & [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_u]Halston[/name_u].

The only thing that’s throwing me off a bit is that [name_u]Campbell[/name_u] sounds like it really could be a first name for a girl and [name_u]Halston[/name_u] doesn’t. That’s why I suggested [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] or [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] because they sound like last names and like girl names, to me anyway. But [name_u]Halston[/name_u] is totally growing on me and it totally makes more sense to have both be family names. McCall is also really cute because it reminds me of the sewing patterns and gives a vintage vibe just like [name_u]Campbell[/name_u].

You can’t go wrong with any of these :smiley:
