I do like [name_f]Susan[/name_f] and I think it’s very sweet and would be a nice surprise to see on a little girl. Though I must say I prefer [name_f]Susannah[/name_f].

I can easily see [name_f]Susan[/name_f] on a little girl.

I accidentally voted no but I mean yes. [name_f]Susan[/name_f] is so sweet on a little girl and I love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] also.

[name_f]Susan[/name_f] is still a “mom name” to me, I’d find it weird on a little girl. Big fan of [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]!

I really like [name_f]Susan[/name_f] and actually prefer it to [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Susan[/name_f]!

I voted no but it felt a bit harsh to say straight no.
I prefer [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], I looooove nicknames [name_f]Suzy[/name_f] and [name_f]Suki[/name_f] - which you can use for [name_f]Susan[/name_f] as well.
[name_f]Susan[/name_f] I have heavily associated with my mums generation so I would never use it. But if you don’t have that association (different area or age) then I don’t see why you shouldn’t

Prefer [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Zanna[/name_f]/[name_f]Sanna[/name_f], but I think a young [name_f]Susan[/name_f] might be nice.

I think it works. It’s still a bit of a mom-name, but it’s classic enough that it’s not really that big of an issue. I personally prefer [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], but can totally see [name_f]Susan[/name_f] on a little girl too!

I can’t see [name_f]Susan[/name_f] on a little girl. It is still very old-lady to me.

[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is nicer. However, I know a 16 y/o named [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] (goes by [name_f]Susie[/name_f]) and she hates her name because she thinks [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] sounds like a 90 year old woman and [name_f]Susie[/name_f] sounds like a 5 year old. It’s important to also consider how a child would feel with an “older” name. It’s possible she will love it, but I know a [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Linda[/name_f] (all 16) who all loathe their names for being old-lady names. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a little insight, sorry if it wasn’t my place to say that.

I think it would be great!

I never thought I would say this, but I would love to see [name_f]Susan[/name_f] or [name_f]Susanne[/name_f], etc. on a little girl.

Why? Because I’ve taught since 1989 and I don’t think I have ever taught a [name_f]Susan[/name_f] or a [name_f]Susanne[/name_f].

Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, I had many of this name in my life. [name_f]Susanne[/name_f], [name_m]Little[/name_m] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f], [name_f]Suzie[/name_f], Soozi, [name_f]Susan[/name_f], [name_f]Sue[/name_f], etc.

My poor dad, when he’d take a message for me, his uniform name was [name_f]Susan[/name_f] regardless of which form it was. [name_f]Susan[/name_f]? Which [name_f]Susan[/name_f]?

To me it now has a homespun, clean, pantry-like feeling, like a jug of brown-eyed Susans on a kitchen table. And I adore [name_f]Sue[/name_f] as a nickname. I even love [name_f]Suellen[/name_f], which shows how nostalgic I’ve become!

I’m in my early 20s, and I’ve grown up with 2 Susans around my age. I think it’s lovely.

[name_f]Susan[/name_f] is a soft-sounding name. I don’t think it’s too “grandma” at all.

While [name_f]Susan[/name_f] does remind me of my parents generation (I’m in my 20s), I dont see why you couldn’t use it.
I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a little girl name [name_f]Susan[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Susie[/name_f] is just adorable.
I do personally prefer [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], but that’s just because [name_f]Susan[/name_f] is slightly more dated to me. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] just feels younger, in my opinion.
If you like [name_f]Susan[/name_f] more though, I think it could definitely work!

I’d love to meet a little [name_f]Susan[/name_f].

It’s still a bit too “old lady” for me unfortunately but [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Susie[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is quite cute!

It’s cute! You could call her [name_u]Sunny[/name_u].

Definitely not.

But I do like [name_f]Susannah[/name_f]!

My mom’s name is [name_f]Susana[/name_f] so I find [name_f]Susan[/name_f] (and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], tbh, although I’ve warmed up to it) to be “mom names”. I can somewhat see [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] on a little girl but not a fan of [name_f]Susan[/name_f].
