Susannah Soleil...?

I’m still mulling over middle names. Any opinions on [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f]? Imagery? Flow? Thanks for your help!

I think it has a good flow. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] makes me think of yellow, sunflowers, summer, clear blue sky, etc.

I think [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] flows beautifully and has a bright, lively feel. Really good name [name_f]IMO[/name_f]!

I think the rhythm works but they are kind of different styles to me. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] feels like the American west or south to me, probably because of the song, so kind of earthy, whereas [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] feels [name_m]French[/name_m] and fancy. I guess it’s also a lot of S but that doesn’t bother me as much.

[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] is beautiful! It flows well and sounds classy.

I think they sound lovely together, but I agree with @sara1800 in that the two names are vastly different styles and that is tripping me up. Particularly if you’re pronouncing it Sooz-[name_f]ANN[/name_f]-uh instead of Sooz-AHN-uh. If you bring the softer ‘ahn’ sound in the middle instead of the harder ‘an,’ that helps some, but the names are still so very different. Almost too different.

I love these two together. I am a big alliteration fan but I also really enjoy the imagery they bring. I also think of yellow as another poster mentioned which is such a happy color to be associated with.
