Sutton or Saffron?

I’ve narrowed my list down to two names that I [name]ADORE[/name] - [name]Sutton[/name] and [name]Saffron[/name]. They’re really similar, and I don’t know which one to pick! Opinions???

[name]Sutton[/name] rhymes with mutton, and I love the nickname Saffy for [name]Saffron[/name].

So in my opinion, [name]Saffron[/name] is the way to go.

I love [name]Saffron[/name]! It’s delicious… [name]Sutton[/name] is cute too, but it reminds me of the word sullen…

[name]Saffron[/name]! It has a light, pleasant sound to it.

I would pick [name]Saffron[/name] over [name]Sutton[/name]

I prefer [name]Saffron[/name]! Reminds me of the British show Absolutely Fabulous

[name]Saffron[/name]. [name]Sutton[/name] is too close to Sluttin’.

I’m going to go with [name]Sutton[/name]. [name]Saffron[/name] sounds kind of silly to me.

Oh wow I don’t think they’re similar at all! [name]Sutton[/name] is manly and rhymes with mutton. [name]Saffron[/name] is girly and gorgeous! [name]Lovely[/name] choice!

Another vote for [name]Saffron[/name] here.

[name]Saffron[/name] FTW! [name]Love[/name] it. [name]Sutton[/name] is sort of bland in comparison.

[name]Sutton[/name] is pretty masculine but it’s more serious and sophisticated than [name]Saffron[/name]. [name]Sutton[/name] may be a safer choice since many would see [name]Saffron[/name] as a word, not a name.

Also depends on your personality. Are you the naturey/artsy/bohemian type? If not then your child might not be either so [name]Saffron[/name] probably wouldn’t fit them.

I love [name]Saffron[/name] (and [name]Sage[/name] & [name]Thyme[/name] & [name]Sorrel[/name]) but it fits my personality and the lifestyle my kids will be raised in

[name]Sutton[/name], this has really grown on me lately, very sleek and chill sounding.
[name]Saffron[/name] just isn’t my style.

Hmm

To be honest, I don’t love either.

If I was picking one for myself I would choose [name]Sutton[/name] because it feels more crisp & professional and reminds me of the Broadway star by that name. [name]Saffron[/name] reminds me of [name]Ab[/name] Fab, but I would feel silly introducing myself as [name]Saffron[/name]. It’s cute for a kid, but not very dignified really.

[name]Sutton[/name] for sure! I don’t know why but [name]Saffron[/name] doesn’t have a nice ring to it to me.

I don’t like surname names nor the [name]Sutton[/name] I’ve known. I do like botanicals and colour names. So it’s an easy vote for [name]Saffron[/name] for me.

I really like [name]Saffron[/name]. I think [name]Sutton[/name] is too masculine and doesn’t sound that nice.

Of the two, [name]Saffron[/name] gets my vote.

I particularly dislike [name]Sutton[/name]. I dislike surnames on girls and [name]Sutton[/name] is super masculine to me. Further, I dislike the sound of [name]Sutton[/name]–it reminds me of sullen, sulk, and surly, plus ‘sut’ is a dead sounding syllable.

[name]Saffron[/name] is pretty, and I like it, but it doesn’t seem substantial enough to me. I prefer [name]Sorrel[/name].

I actually like [name]Sutton[/name]. But they are both lovely. [name]Saffron[/name] feels a bit more frilly and [name]Sutton[/name] has a more earthy feel to it. [name]Just[/name] more my style but I really like either!

Because I adore [name]Sutton[/name] [name]Foster[/name], I’m going to have to go with [name]Sutton[/name]. [name]Saffron[/name] = red tendrily things that cost a fortune to buy at the market, and you’ve always got to use much more than whatever the recipe for paella calls for!
