Hey everyone! I recently found this gem in a caf from @snowmaiden (it was only used 11 times in 1920!) and it’s safe to say I’m in love! It sounds so soft and sweet. I love the nicknames too: [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], [name_f]Nella[/name_f]
So… how do you guys envision [name_f]Annella[/name_f]?
What would you nickname her and what would you name siblings?
I was thinking [name_u]Jacoby[/name_u], pronounced ‘JACK-uh-bee) - what do y’all think about that?

I’m so glad you’ve found [name_f]Annella[/name_f]! She’s just as you describe: soft and sweet. I picture a little prairie child. Somebody with wild hair and loud voice; gentle, watchful eyes and warm hugs. Doilies, peonies, and hand-hemmed skirts.
Of your combos, I most love [name_f]Annella[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]! I’m a sucker for an honor name, but I love the flow as well. [name_u]Dove[/name_u] and [name_f]May[/name_f] are both quite a bit lovely too! [name_u]Marion[/name_u] is just my favorite.
[name_f]Annella[/name_f] is really sweet! Looking at it I can’t believe it hasn’t been more popular, it seems like such an obvious (in a good way!) combination of familiar syllables. I love the nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f] which would work so well for this I imagine her as a really sweet, kind girl with a soft sunshiney smile. I can see her being creative, maybe sketching or writing song lyrics in a notebook, daydreaming.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Jacoby[/name_u] as a sibling because they both feel like slightly off-the-beaten-track versions of really familiar warm friendly names. (I vastly prefer [name_u]Jacoby[/name_u] the way you put it rather than ja-COE-bee!!)
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite of your middles is [name_u]Dove[/name_u] but they’re all lovely!
annella is quite a warm, sweet, and inviting name she evokes praries, running through fields of flowers, and overall very spring-y; i love her!
annie, nellie, & nella are such beautiful nicknames love them! i can also totally see anna, ann, elle, & ellie on her too if those hit the spot for you
jacoby with annella is just such a saeet pair, as jacoby pretty much guve the same vibe as she does; except a tad less graceful and more mud!
my favorite of the combos you have is annella marion; like hazel, im a sucker for honor names but i adore the flow of annella marion, and it digs even deeper into the springtime feel. marion just complements annella so well
