We have a few, though my husband loves shay. I do too,but it has become more feminine and don’t want my son to get made fun of. What do you think. Here are our boys list.
My favorite:[name]Christian[/name] shae
His favorite shae [name]Christian[/name]
We boh like rafferty
And greylon.
Which name do you think my son will grow up liking, but still has the coolness factor
Definitely [name]Christian[/name] [name]Shay[/name]!
I think [name]Shae[/name]/[name]Shay[/name] is quite feminine. [name]How[/name] about [name]Christian[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name]?
[name]Shea[/name] [name]Christian[/name] is very handsome (of course I’m biased since [name]Shea[/name] is my #1 boy name)
[name]Shae[/name] and [name]Shay[/name] are more common for girls so I would not use either spelling. [name]Shea[/name] is the most common spelling for boys so it would cut down on confusion. I think [name]Shea[/name] is very dashing and masculine on a boy. Plus it’s never been popular enough to considered a girl name. With the rise of Irish names I doubt most will see anything wrong with a boy [name]Shea[/name].
As far as coolness
[name]Shea[/name] Lopez: pro surfer (not much cooler than that, [name]IMO[/name])
[name]Shea[/name] Hillenbrand: baseball player
[name]Shea[/name] tree: African tree
I would like to suggest [name]Seamus[/name] with the nickname of [name]Shay[/name]/[name]Shea[/name]. [name]Seamus[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] is very charming. If [name]Seamus[/name] doesn’t float your boat, I agree with [name]Shea[/name] spelling and [name]Shea[/name] [name]Christian[/name].
I like [name]Shea[/name] Chrisitian or [name]Christian[/name] [name]Shea[/name]. I would go with the one that sounds best with your last name. I don’t like Greylon at all.
I love the name [name]Christian[/name] and pairing it with [name]Shea[/name] or [name]Rafferty[/name] makes a very nice combo.
Sorry, I think [name]Shay[/name] has gone to the girls. Personally, I prefer it on a girl. It sounds too pretty.
[name]Rafferty[/name] is cool. Greylon is too trendy.
Since you like [name]Shay[/name], maybe you would like:
[name]Shane[/name]
[name]Cale[/name]/[name]Kale[/name]
[name]Bay[/name]
[name]Taye[/name]
[name]Tate[/name]
[name]Jay[/name]
[name]Jace[/name]
[name]Hayes[/name]
[name]Hale[/name]
[name]How[/name] about [name]Sullivan[/name]?
I love the suggestion of [name]Christian[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name]! I also love [name]Christian[/name] [name]Shea[/name], but only with the [name]Shea[/name] spelling. I like [name]Shea[/name]/[name]Shay[/name] pretty equally on both genders; I like the [name]Shea[/name] spelling for a boy, and the more Anglicized [name]Shay[/name] spelling for a girl.
Greylon seems a bit made-up to me, but I think something like [name]Grayson[/name] [name]Christian[/name]/[name]Grayson[/name] [name]Shea[/name]/[name]Grayson[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name] would be lovely, too.
Good luck!
I agree that [name]Shane[/name] would be perfect. [name]Shane[/name] [name]Christian[/name] sounds great. I also like [name]Christian[/name] [name]Shay[/name]. I love [name]Grey[/name], but Greylon is really made up sounding.
I love [name]Rafferty[/name]! I like [name]Seamus[/name] a lot also and both have a spirited Irish feel so I’d suggest:
[name]Rafferty[/name] [name]Seamus[/name]
- or-
[name]Seamus[/name] [name]Rafferty[/name]
I love [name]Rafferty[/name] I would use it if my husband would agree. (nickname [name]Rafe[/name]) if you decide [name]Shae[/name] has gone to the girls. (I wish I didn’t but I agree)
