dear friends, i hope youāre having a lovely sunday! i certainly did.
my partner and i spent some time walking the historic downtown of the city nearest us. the brick buildings, the warm sun- oh, it was lovely. even more lovely, we were checking out the baby section of an organic and local goods store. we had the most fun looking at baby clothes and books and teeny tiny shoes, and daydreaming about the baby weāll be trying for come august. in this store, the book [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Flower[/name_f] by [name_f]Zora[/name_f] [name_m]Neale[/name_m] Hurston caught my eye and reminded me of my love for the name [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. i know, i know, iām much more fond of names like [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] these days, but there is just something about [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. iāve been thinking about her since.
rant over- i think -iām truly here to ask for a little help. i just adore vintage names. does [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] pair well with my style? how do you visualize [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], and what would you name her siblings?
thank you for humoring me berries, [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] makes my heart flutter the way only my sweet [name_f]Willa[/name_f] ever did. it just feels right. šŖ»
