I worry about the slightly negative connotation of [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] but is that widely known? I’m also open to other names and middle names if anyone has any suggestions!
I slightly prefer [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] (no negative connotation) but [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is so darn cute it’s a draw. And with Belrose is super sweet. I think those are great options
Firstly I absolutely love your surname! Belrose is beyond adorable.
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is gorgeous she’s a fun quirky floral name that feels fun and vibrant. [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] Belrose has this cool bohemian flair that I find appealing. I’m aware the association with the [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] flower and that during the Victorian era the flower took a sinister turn with the representation of hatred and resistance towards someone sometimes can be seen as a declaration of war which isn’t the best. However Tansies can also symbolism protection, health and hope for good health. Still I wouldn’t overthink this as most folk will not know the symbolism behind tansy flower.
Looking at [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] now I’m a massive fan of this name! [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] is beautiful, strong, brave, striking and visually interesting. She’s a family name for me so this makes [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] even more appealing. I think [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] would be such a refreshing choice and I absolutely love the nickname [name_f]Effie[/name_f]. [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] Belrose feels straight from a storybook completely gorgeous.
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is a plant, part of the daisy family I think?
I’m sorry I don’t like [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f]. [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is cute though, if you only want it as a nickname some names that start with Ef for girls are: Efa/Efah (which is also the phonetic spelling of Aiofe), Efiah, Efimia.
[name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is lovely, it’s exactly that connotation I was partly worried about but I’ve always had an interest in gardening/plantlife so maybe I’m overthinking it!
I do love [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] [name_f]Delfina[/name_f] and [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f].
I think my main worry for [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is it not aging well with her and sounding a bit young, at least [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] gives her a longer name to fall back on if she wants it, but I am still in love with the name so I’m torn
Honestly I wouldn’t worry to much about [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] connotation I think your probably more interested because of your love of plant life. Also I think darker girl names are very fashionable such as [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (poison ivy) and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] etc I do think [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is cool. I love [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] especially as [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] gives a bit of strength to Tansy/Belrose. However [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is lovely and I would go for it also I think she would age just fine similarly to [name_f]Lily[/name_f] she’s cutesy but ages well.
[name_f]Tansy[/name_f] is an interesting choice that I’ve actially never heard before. I like it and with your last name ( Belrose is very pretty and distinguished sounding) I could see it functioning as a middle name. One low point is it does remind me of [name_f]Pansy[/name_f] but again, if it’s placed in the middle spot I don’t view it as a big issue.
[name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] though I LOVE. And [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is so in style, I even see it as being chic, I think [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] + [name_f]Effie[/name_f] is a great choice. [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] [name_f]Tansy[/name_f] Belrose
