I adore the name [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f], and long have (I seem to really love names used by European [name_u]Royalty[/name_u], though I don’t know why?), and I’d love to add it as a first name option to my list, but I’m not quite sure what I’d shorten it to.
I’d like something sweet that isn’t too far of a stretch - [name_u]Alex[/name_u] feels too masculine imo and [name_u]Allie[/name_u] is a bit too common alongside potential sisters [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f], lol.
What would you shorten [name_f]Alexandrina[/name_f] to?
I’d go possibly [name_f]Rina[/name_f], or [name_f]Andi[/name_f].

I quite like [name_f]Andie[/name_f] as well, but my SIL has just announced that my newest little niece will be an @ndie lol.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite nn would be Alexie (which I think is adorable!), but I also like [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] as a bit of a gp nn for [name_u]Alex[/name_u]- names for a girl haha. And [name_f]Annie[/name_f]! I like [name_f]Annie[/name_f] as a sister for [name_f]Nellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Dulcie[/name_f] but idk if you do?
