[name_f]Sybil[/name_f] looks the most clean and straightforward to me. A lovely name!

I find myself really torn between [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] and [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] (don’t care for [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f] at all). I think both work very well. I prefer the look of [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]. But I love the nn [name_f]Sibby[/name_f] and I would use it often, so I like that [name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] has less spelling changes when getting to the nn since I prefer [name_f]Sibby[/name_f] to Sybbie/Sybby.

I picked [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] but I’d have picked [name_f]Sibella[/name_f] if it was there

Usually I’d choose the original, but I have [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] (and [name_f]Sybilla[/name_f]) on my list for a character. [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] looks more natural to me too.

I prefer [name_f]Sibylla[/name_f] - it just sounds a lot more attractive to me and has spunkiness and charm. I don’t like [name_f]Sybil[/name_f]/[name_f]Sibyl[/name_f] - hard to say why but they just don’t sound appealing to me. [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] the same. For [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] I just hear a mixture of ‘insipid’ and ‘bull’.

Exactly what I was gonna say!

Thank you all!
