Syllabel Help

Quick question, my last name has 3 syllables. Is a three syllable first name the way to go or is better to go with two?

The “rule” is that names of identical syllable count shouldn’t be adjacent to each other. So, when broken up by a middle, either is fine. You should also pay attention to meter-- you don’t want two stressed syllables to be next to each other, either. For example:

[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Cecile[/name] works; try to say [name]Corinne[/name] [name]Lily[/name] and you’ll see what I mean.
