Syllables

If the first name and last name both have 2 syllables, would you try to avoid a 2 syllable middle name?

I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid a 2-2-2 name. It doesn’t sound that bad to be a deal breaker.

I am not particularly bothered by syllable counts; I think the sounds present in each name make or break the flow far more than syllable count. I think a 2-2-2 name could work really well, actually!

I think it depends more on what the sounds are and where the emphases are placed rather than the syllable count!

No, I don’t think it really matters.

I’m admittedly a bit of stickler with syllables (I tend to lean toward a 4-3-2 count for my own combos) but really the sounds themselves play just as much of a roll. While some 2-2-2 names feel choppy to me, there are others that sound great! So really it’s all pretty subjective.
