Sylvia or Cecilia?

I have a character that needs a definite name! Her nickname, that everyone calls her by, is Savvy. Which should it be:
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] Junebug Higgins or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] Junebug Higgins?

Tangent about name:
[name_m]Reason[/name_m] behind nickname: Her dearly beloved mother, [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], passed away when she was a little girl and she’s the one that have her the nickname. She always told people, “She sees things. And she understands them. She sees things and already understand them in such a way that most adults cannot even begin to comprehend. That’s why she’s my Savvy.” And yes, the character is a medium.)

Her brother’s name:
She has an older brother, who she’s also very close with but is off at war throughout most of the story, named [name_u]Francis[/name_u] [name_m]Winston[/name_m] Higgins; he’s nicknamed [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]/[name_u]Win[/name_u] (or playfully [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]).

What she needs:
She needs a dressy, elegant first name because her father, [name_m]Richard[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] Higgins, is a very posh, wealth, high-in business man to whom looks mean the very most to.

Middle name:
Her middle name is Junebug (something quirky her mother made up right on the spot of her birth after the month she was born in, [name_u]June[/name_u]).

About her:
She’s soft-spoken and hard to get to know, but within she’s very, very sweet and caring. She’s also compassionate/passionate, empathetic, artistic, creative, witty, sarcastic and humorous, smart, highly independent, loving, deep- and open-minded, thoughtful, considerate, free-spirited, and “earthly”. She has a soft spot for animals and flowers/nature, which she’s always working with or surrounding herself in, but tends to be closed off and selective with people.

So, with all that said, which should it be:
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] Junebug Higgins or [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] Junebug Higgins?

I’m sorry that’s so long! Thank you very much!!

I think [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] fits her better!

Based on your description, I prefer [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. The meaning “from the woods/forest” coincides with the character’s love of nature and her “earthy” side. I get a more ladylike, dainty and elegant image with [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]. If the character “sees things”, would you want to call her [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] which means “blind”?

[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] can be both a gentlewoman or a “tough lady” (this is from my own life experience since I’ve know one of each personality type with this name). I just find [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] a more interesting and versatile name. I also think the [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] have a similar lispy sound than [name_u]Francis[/name_u] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f].
