I think we have it down to these names for our daughter due in [name_u]June[/name_u]. I think I’m swaying towards [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] after my last post… I already have three children, my two girls are [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. Which name goes better? And which do you prefer? Thanks again.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] !!
I prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] over [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] make a wonderful set. I would also like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f], and [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]. I think it’s beautiful, elegant, streamlined and so underused! [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is pretty too but [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] just oozes class and sophistication.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] goes best with [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] for sure! I adore the name and it is on my list. It goes perfectly with [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is the perfect name with sisters [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. I love that they all have the ‘i’ in common, seem equally long, and I adore that they all represent a different sort of area, [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] a garden, [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] a forest and [name_f]Marina[/name_f] a harbour. ^^
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is a little more serious than the others and it would mean [name_f]Marina[/name_f] is the only one without a flower name.
I love both names almost equally myself and would have a tough time choosing between the two, but with [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is hands down the best choice…
I love both. [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is very elegant, bit so is [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] goes a bit better.
[name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]!
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] would be my choice.
I prefer sylvie because then lilac isn’t the only one without an “a” ending! Plus [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] sounds beautiful with [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f]!
I prefer [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].
Really like both names but prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] with the names of your other two daughters. Having another flower name sort of makes [name_f]Marina[/name_f] seem like an outlier.
I prefer [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] goes better with [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f] than [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]…
I think [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] sound wonderful together. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is such a beautiful, unique name with a cool, offbeat sound like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. I also like the name [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], but I just don’t feel that it fits quite as well.
Thank you for the feedback.
I do feel [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] goes better think I’m just questioning my own judgement. When people ask and I say we are considering [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] the responses are mainly negative. We do love it though so think I will just keep it to myself until shes here.
I think they are both fabulous choices. I actually know siblings that are [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]! I am biased toward [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] because we have chosen it for our daughter due any minute. At our small preschool (in the Southeastern US), there are two Roses, a [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], and a [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] among just 4 classes! We also know a [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. In a vacuum, I would prefer [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], though. Sorry to be so equivocal. They are just such lovely choices (and you already have beautifully named daughters).
I like [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Marina[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
