I am considering using the name [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] for a girl. The name [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] is my great grandmothers name and [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] is my grandfathers name. I have told a few friends the name and I have gotten some mixed feed back.
[name_m]Will[/name_m] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] not age well? Or are there names out there that I could use [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] for a nick name? Any suggestions or feedback would be great. Thank you!

I wouldn’t worry about trying to predict how [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] will age. It will age well because that’s what names do. It may seem odd to imagine, but one day [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], [name_u]Kayden[/name_u] and [name_f]Kinzley[/name_f] will be grandparent names. I think a chic name like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] will do fine.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is super stylish and adorable: gold and pink, lilacs, ribbons and a checked skirt. It also reminds me of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] Plath who was a fantastic poet and author.

She’d be early fifties if she was still alive. [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is a beautiful, sweet, and spunky name for a baby girl!
