I have been pondering the name [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] and I think it’s a really good match for if this wee one turns out to be a girl. Big sister is [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].
What do you think of [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]? I think as far as middle names go I would go with [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] or [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Annette[/name_f].
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are both witchy names, which makes me dislike them as siblings. If you hadn’t considered or realized it, the Bewitched connection, the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] connection, and next year the All Souls trilogy which is based around Witches/Vampires will be hitting TV, and the witches cat is named [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]. (All Souls has been predicted to be the next GoT in popularity, Adult Fiction series) And I feel like I am missing a few witch related [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] references.
I think as siblings, [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] really make this connection pop out, and maybe that doesn’t bother you at all, and in which (witch? Pun…) case, go for it, they make lovely siblings. I would say I love [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f], but to draw back to my witchy point, the heroine of the All Souls trilogy is a witch named [name_f]Diana[/name_f].
I agree with @kibby. Still, I think [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are a really cute sibset if you don’t mind the pop culture / witchy associations.
Of your two middle name options I like [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] best.
I love the name [name_f]Hermione[/name_f].
It goes very well with [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f].
I don’t really see the witchy connection as I don’t read or watch YA fiction.
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is just gorgeous.
I think [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is lovely and makes a great sister for [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]. The [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] connection with [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is a positive one in my mind - she is a strong, smart, adventurous girl who is a loyal friend and cares for others. I really like strong girl references. [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is a really good combo.
A perfect pairing! I love both names and they sound wonderful together. [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is a bit lengthy but utterly lovely.
I actually think I prefer [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] [name_f]Annette[/name_f], although I am not sure how I feel about [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] itself. It is a beautiful name, but it is still very, very much [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] to me. I have never encountered anyone (or even a reference to anyone) named [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] outside of the books. To me it really just depends on if you would mind constant HP references. If that is not an issue than I think [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] are very beautiful together.
Thanks for all of your responses and advice. Now that some people have pointed out the whole witchy connection I can’t shake the idea so [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is a no go. But thanks for your help guys! X
