What does everyone think of the name [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f]? [name_f]My[/name_f] sisters expecting a baby late [name_f]May[/name_f], wondering how people pronounce this, alternatives, and if it could be mistaken for anything?
tahlia is very cute, but it feels frustratingly close to thalia and talia, both of which I prefer (and adore). I would say TAH-lee-uh. I think a tahlia would have to spell her name every time.
I pronounce [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] like [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], just with a T!
I switch between pronouncing [name_f]Tahlia[/name_f] like taw-lee-uh and tah-lee-uh! It’s a very pretty name ![]()
Tahlia is very sweet. I say [name_m]Tah[/name_m]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-uh. She may have to remind people to remember the h but I quite like it spelt this way.
I like it and I pronounce it Ta-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]-ah
I’d pronounce it tar-lee-uh (Tar rhyming with car). It’s a sweet name -charming and pretty. I do slightly prefer the spelling [name_f]Talia[/name_f] though as it feels simpler
Tall-ee-ya. I know a [name_f]Talia[/name_f] spelled without the “h”.
I’d pronounce it TAH-lee-uh! I think the pronunciation is more intuitive than the spelling though–I can see it being mistaken for [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] and [name_f]Talia[/name_f].
