This is kinda long, so I apologize. I don’t know if its postpartum hormones or what, but my baby fever is bad. [name_f]My[/name_f] son is only 3 months old, so we won’t be trying for awhile. But that doesn’t mean we can’t dream up names, right?
I LOVE short names, or names that can be shortened. I already have a [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] ([name_u]Finn[/name_u]) and a [name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. All names are honor names of sorts, mostly the middles, some of them the first, but I’m open to suggestions!

  • Renly Eizabeth (this spelling…book worm here. After a minor character in GOT)
  • Blair [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]/Elizabeth (too boyish/bland?)

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - 9/10 love this! Great pair since [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is unisex and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is feminine
[name_u]Wilder[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] - 6/10 I love [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] on a boy but this combo works and sounds cute

Lavender May - 6/10. I love both names but I’m not crazy about them together, I think this is because I personally find them a really similar style? Because you like Lavender and Mariana, I wondered if you’d like Lavinia or Luciana May?

All 8 or 9/10: Renly Eizabeth, Alice Mariana, Rowan Elizabeth, Rosalie Wilder, Avery Jessamine, Emmeline May, Mae Genevieve.

I do find Blair a little bland. How about Blythe Evelyn? Or Evelyn Blair/Blythe?

Here are my thoughts on the list:

Renley [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-Meh, not my style. I know it’s after a character, but it seems a little non name-ish.

Blair [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]/Elizabeth-I think that [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] sounds nicer. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is not my personal style. It just reminds me of a snobby girl. I don’t think it’s too masculine. And style wise it actually goes pretty well w/Piper & [name_u]Finn[/name_u].

Alice [name_f]Mariana[/name_f]-Aw, that’s beautiful. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is sweet & classic. It’s smart & grows up well. And [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is fancy & unexpected & flows perfectly. It’s not the first thing that I’d pair w/Piper, but it doesn’t not work.

Rowan [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-I don’t know. I like this for a boy. It would make a perfect brother to [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m].

Wilder [name_f]May[/name_f]-Seems boyish to me. Maybe cool as a mn.

Rosalie [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]-Yes, like that! That’s adorable. I can totally see a little [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] w/Piper & [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. Very fun & spunky.

Wren [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-I think it’s a little too close to [name_u]Finn[/name_u].

Beyla [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]-This is not my style. I know it’s a real name, but it just seems a little made up-ish. Like [name_f]Bella[/name_f], but not quite.

Avery Jessamay/Jessamine-Not a fan of [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. It’s so trendy & over done.

Avery [name_f]Kristine[/name_f]-[name_u]Avery[/name_u] Jessamay is my favorite.

Evelyn [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]-It’s not bad at all, but sooooo popular. And a little fancy next to [name_u]Piper[/name_u]. Although a little [name_f]Evie[/name_f] would be cute.

Genevieve [name_f]May[/name_f]-That’s classy & vintage. Kind of cute. I do think that [name_f]Ginny[/name_f] would be too close to [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. But what about [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nn [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f]? Or [name_f]Vivie[/name_f]?

Violet [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-[name_u]Love[/name_u] this. It’s feminine & classic, but I think it’s fun & spunky enough to pair w/Piper.

Emmeline [name_f]May[/name_f]-That’s pretty. I don’t personally care for [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], but this is good.

Rain [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]-I don’t think it’s trendy. It’s more like hippy. But it’s kind of fun & different.

Grace [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]-It’s not my personal style, but I do like this combo. And the nn [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] would be cute.

Mae [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]-Ooh, that’s lovely. Simple & elegant. Really nice w/your crew.

Lavender [name_f]May[/name_f]-Nah, I think it’s usable. A little frilly, but I love the idea of the nn [name_f]Livy[/name_f] if you’re into that.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]—10/10. I actually prefer [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] for a girl. This is a stunning combination.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]–9/10; feminine with a dash of whimsy.
[name_u]Rain[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]–10/10. Wow, you’re good at this. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nickname [name_f]Rainie[/name_f], also.
[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]–9/10; [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is so simple but lovely.
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]—5/10; kind of hard to picture on a person.

My favorites are [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Rain[/name_u]. [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is very nice too, though. I think in the end I might go with [name_u]Rain[/name_u].
