Love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]! Very sleek and sophisticated name, while still feeling a little funky :star_struck: That’s now I picture an [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] to be as well, although maybe minus the funky part lol

I have loved [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] for years. Honestly, I took it off of my list, because I couldn’t see myself realistically using it. But, [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is stunning, and I think it is underrated. I think some people might find it a little harsh, but I think it is classy, beautiful, and definitely ages well. I picture a sweet, but spunky girl!

I adore [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]. It feels so… powerful? It makes me think of a tall woman in a winter coat, walking through the snow with a bow and arrow. It’s elegant and stong but can be quite cute with nicknames like [name_f]Inga[/name_f], [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] and [name_u]Indie[/name_u].

I don’t care for this name. It just sounds like a few other unpleasant words in my ears. Ingrate, ingrown, gritty, grid makes me think of boxes… Also, this is totally stilly, but [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] just doesn’t look very pretty written out to me. This is all in theory though, on an actual person I wouldn’t start thinking about this stuff… I hope.

Ingrid has a slightly dark, witchy feel to me. It’s a cool name

I think a strong warrior. I like it for others!

I like it! It would be so cute to see such a vintage name on a little girl!

I love [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f], she’s easy to pronounce and spell, familiar but in no way overused (at least not where I live in the USA but it could be different elsewhere). I also think it’s a great name to grow into as an adult and has that sleek vibe that’s made [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] a very popular name.

I feel similarly I didn’t used to like it as much but really grew on me. It feels strong and complete and gives me almost medieval Scandinavian vibes. I could absolutely see a little girl named [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] today and it would be a good name to grow into

I think [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] is fab! It’s really sophisticated and strong, I picture a very intelligent, elegant, capable woman when I hear the name, but I love the suggestions of [name_f]Inga[/name_f], [name_u]Indie[/name_u], [name_f]Idgie[/name_f] or [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] if you wanted a cuter nickname.

It’s a bit tricky to pair with middle names because it’s got such a “complete” sound, if that makes sense? But I’ll have a go!

I also used to hate it, but it grew on me after a positive book character association. Now it’s on my UC as one of my top names. It’s got a strong sound and goes really well with a lot of my favorite middles

I LOVE the name [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f], it’s basically got a permanent presence in my ever changing UC.

I love it because it feels bold, powerful, elegant, and strong. It reminds me of old Hollywood, mostly because of [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] Bergman, an actress who was my first exposure to the name. Nothing but pleasant vibes for me with this one.

I’ve only ever met one [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f], she wore the name well. So to me, the name is recognizable— easy for people to spell and pronounce— but also not too common. Right in the “sweet spot” for me.

I’m definitely in the “talk you in” camp.

I think of [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] Bergman, so that adds some elegance. Overall, I still think it’s a bit too old fashioned.

It’s not my personal style, but I like it. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] Bergman gave it a touch of Old Hollywood sophistication.

I’ve always been a fan its a name that works for both quirky and straight-laced types.
Off the top of my head the only nickname I know is [name_u]Inge[/name_u] or [name_f]Inga[/name_f] but I think [name_m]Iggy[/name_m] is possible too.

I used to dislike it aswell but now I absolutely love it. It’s not popular but not unheard of. [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] can be small and introverted or big and boisterous. I adore it
