Pretty straightforward, do you like the name [name_m]Tallis[/name_m] and what would you think about a boy with it
thanks!
I like it. Unusual but doesn’t sound flaky to me. No pronunciation problems and it has a musical connection from [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Tallis[/name_m].
I think it’s nice. It might get confused with [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], though.
It’s not my style but I wouldn’t have a negative reaction if I met a boy with it. I like that even though it’s an uncommon name, there’s no struggle to figure out how to pronounce it. I would probably just assume it was a family surname.
I like it. It’s surname-y without being super obvious, easy to spell and say and kind of reminds me of talon, which is kind of cool.
Really cool.
It reminds me of Atonement - it’s [name_f]Briony[/name_f]'s surname.
As in [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]? I like it. I don’t see why it can’t be used.
I like it. It’s unusual but not weird, and simple but handsome.
If it weren’t for the fact that I worked for a chiropractor for quite a while and it makes me think of the proper name for the heel bone (Tallus), I wouldn’t mind it. lol That’s honestly the first thing I thought of, but that is not going to be a common reaction.
Attempting to take my mental connection out, I think the name is pretty decent. I’m not a huge fan, but I don’t think it’s bad by any means. I think it would be just fine on a boy.
