We have always known that if we were to have a daughter, her name would be [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]. So now we are having one… she is due in [name_f]May[/name_f] 2021. It took us a long time to come up with a middle name that felt right. Finally, after months of deliberation we landed on [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. The problem? A few weeks later, after becoming completely attached to the idea, we decided to do a google search to make sure nothing problematic came up. Turns out Talulah [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is an [name_f]English[/name_f] actress who was also friggin [name_u]Elon[/name_u] Musk’s first wife. Now I don’t know how to feel or what to do… we really love her name and I’m a little bit upset honestly. I hadn’t heard of her before this… Had you? Would you consider it a deal breaker or should we just go ahead and stick with the name we love?
Ugh I hate [name_u]Elon[/name_u] Musk so it would bother me… I wouldnt think many people would make the connection but now that its in your head will it bother you?

When I read the subject I assumed this was a post about the actress - sorry - she’s definitely on people’s radar, especially in the UK, she’s been around for years, she was in Pride and Prejudice, The Boat that Rocked, St Trinians to name a few! But if you love the name, don’t let it bother you, I don’t think it’s a bad thing and it might not be quite as prominent an association in [name_u]America[/name_u]…
My immediate thought was definitely the actress, but my favourite film is Pride & Prejudice (which she’s in) and she’s not incredibly famous, so maybe it wouldn’t be the same as naming your child [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] [name_f]Aniston[/name_f] to most people like it would be to me 
For me, yes it’d be a deal-breaker, but since you’d never heard of her before, it’s probably fine.
I like the sound of both, but we really liked the way [name_u]Riley[/name_u] also shared Irish roots. That was important to us. So I would really like to keep it that way, even if we end up changing the specific name.

This is a gorgeous name! I have never heard of her. I want to encourage you to use it anyway, but I know that I wouldn’t (however, having unique baby names is very important to me, I guess it depends on how important it is for you)
One solution could be changing the spelling of [name_u]Riley[/name_u]. This is my favorite spelling, but the others are nice too.
But changing the middle name may be the best option. I really like a lot of the suggestions other Berries have made! Particularly [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] and [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].
I also check FB along with Google when I’m seriously considering a name!
