Tasoula?

Hello all :slight_smile:

My current name Crush is [name_f]Tasoula[/name_f]. Until yesterday I consider that nÂme as old lady and very dated. But after I meet a lovely teenager called [name_f]Tasoula[/name_f], I found it lovely. I just can’t get it out of my mind. Possible nn’s if I use it in the future will be [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], Soul or Taso. Another bonus is that it kind of honors my aunt (M@toul@ ).

So what do you think?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it?

Thanks in advance :slight_smile:

I actually kind of like this name! It has a cool vibe. I like the nicknames you talked about too. Definitely a good option.

Actually, I’ve never heard of it. A Greek name, I guess? [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce it? :slight_smile: [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], Soul or Taso are all lovely nicknames.

Thanks both of you :slight_smile:

@asche926 : Thanks :slight_smile: I start to like too.
@c@29 : Thanks :slight_smile: Yes, [name_f]Tasoula[/name_f] is a Greek name. I pronounces it TAHS-UWLAH .

[name_f]Tasoula[/name_f] is a beautiful name.

I don’t know enough about Greek names to know how much of a concern this might actually be, but I might not use Taso as a nn. There was one Greek family in my school when I was growing up. The oldest boy, who was in my class, was named Tasos. Everyone called him Taso. If Taso is a commonly used nn for Greek boys, then I probably wouldn’t use it for a girl.

What about Soula as a nn?

Taso reminds me of taco.

[name_f]Tasoula[/name_f] is okay but I prefer [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f].

@water : Thanks :slight_smile: Yes , Taso is clearly a boy nn for Tasos in Greece . But i find it kind of cool in a girl . Thanks for the suggestion but i dont really like Soula .I prefer just Soul .
@casilda : Thanks :slight_smile: I didnt thought about Taso been closed to Taco . I dont think i mind it . I dont like at all [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] but [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a favorite of mine .
