For our second daughter, we’ve likely chosen the name [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]. [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is a name with special meaning for us. However:
Last name pretty much rhymes with [name_u]Cloud[/name_u] (and contains an OW). It doesn’t exactly rhyme, but I know the flow isn’t great. We are open to using a second middle but I haven’t found one that helps the flow? Would this deter you from using it?
Another question: my only hesitance with [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] is that I don’t generally like any NNs it has. [name_f]Tiana[/name_f] I don’t mind, but is still quite long:
[name_f]Tati[/name_f] - I dislike the sound of this
[name_f]Tia[/name_f] - I don’t hate it but we have a lot of Spanish speaking family and one we see regularly goes exclusively by Tìa.
[name_f]Ana[/name_f] - I don’t care for this either and the Frozen craze just makes it worse. I feel like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] is too much of a jump
Tatya - this is cute but I feel weird using a Russian diminutive as neither of us are Russian or have any Russian family/connection to [name_f]Russia[/name_f].
Thoughts? Other NN suggestions?
