I’ve recently started to appreciate the name [name]Taylor[/name] a lot more and it’s definitely my newest name crush. With a completely nonexistent girl’s list, I’ve decided to keep my mind open and have allowed [name]Taylor[/name] in.
However, [name]Taylor[/name] seems to be the only unisex, harder sounding name that I’m actually liking right now. My other current favorites ([name]Julie[/name], [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Evie[/name], [name]Autumn[/name], [name]Valerie[/name], [name]Leah[/name], etc.) all come off as way to feminine, cutesy and nicknamey next to [name]Taylor[/name]. So I’m looking for some names that help bridge the gap. Not to feminine, but also definitely a girl’s name. Hypothetical brother’s would be [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Mark[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] (if that shows you more of my style).
Hmm…
I can see the appeal in [name]Taylor[/name], and I defiantly understand how you feel that your girls’ names don’t fit in with [name]Taylor[/name]. But I also think [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Mark[/name], and [name]Patrick[/name] make [name]Taylor[/name] feel very masculine and if I didn’t know that [name]Taylor[/name] was being used for a girl I would think within that sibling set that [name]Taylor[/name] was boy.
I see what you mean. I have a hard time with boy/girl sibsets and whether they match or not, so thanks for pointing that out!
I really, REALLY like [name]Lauren[/name], but can’t use it. [name]Emmett[/name] and [name]Holden[/name] are both on my list too, so you’ve seemed to hit my style pretty well. I would have never thought of [name]Mia[/name], but I actually kind of like it. Thanks for the suggestions!
Kind of confused how those would help me with my specific question? Unless you have a “name’s that work with [name]Taylor[/name]” list hidden in there that I overlooked.
