Téa, Lucy, Madeleine

Could I get some opinions on these names? DH is so, super frustrating with names. He’s nixed [name]Josephine[/name] nn [name]Josie[/name] from our list which was our front runner.

We love Téa, but will people know how to spell/pronounce it? I don’t like it spelled without the accent, but will people constantly use [name]Tea[/name] instead of Téa? Combos we like are Téa [name]Valentine[/name], Téa [name]Marguerite[/name] and Téa [name]Aurora[/name].

I also adore [name]Lucy[/name], but am worried about it’s popularity. I’ve been told it’s only getting more popular and I don’t want to name my daughter something that will date. [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] would be the combo for this name.

[name]Madeleine[/name] is one I’ve loved for a long time, but I refuse to have her called [name]Maddie[/name] (in a sea of Madisons, Madelyns and Madelines). DH likes [name]Leni[/name] (on it’s own), but would compromise to have her called [name]Madeleine[/name] nn [name]Leni[/name]. Combo would be [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] (so we could call her [name]Leni[/name] [name]Lu[/name] sometimes).

ETA: Our son’s name is Elliot Ian if that makes any difference to you.

I like Téa [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Lucille[/name]

I also like [name]Tea[/name] [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Lucy[/name]. And I’m with you on [name]Maddie[/name]- as much as I like [name]Madeleine[/name], I can’t convince myself of [name]Maddie[/name]. [name]Just[/name] a quick question- are you saying [name]Leni[/name] as [name]LEN[/name]-nee or [name]LAY[/name]-nee?
