I don’t know how to add the accent on the “e” but I like [name_f]Tea[/name_f]… however, how would people pronounce it? [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-ah is what I think first. Would people consistently say tea like in iced tea? [name_m]Just[/name_m] thinking…
With the accent, tay-a, without, tee. [name_f]Thea[/name_f] can also be pronounced like tay-a.
I would think most people would be able to figure it out thanks to Téa [name_u]Leoni[/name_u]. It’s a pretty choice!
With the accent I would think [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-ah. However, without the accent (like in the title) I immediately thought of tea like the drink
With the accent I’ll say it [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-ah, otherwise the iced tea.
I saw tea like Iced tea, sorry
No prob, time to nix [name_f]Tea[/name_f] I don’t want to have to accent 24/7
i thought of iced tea as well
i know that the name [name_f]Taya[/name_f] is a thing but I dont how you pronounce it
As someone who lives in Croatia and who had been surrounded with it my whole life, I pronounce it like Teh-uh, like everyone here. I don’t like the [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-ih pronounciation, it’s just weird to me
I know several girls named [name_f]Taya[/name_f], pronounced as you like it, and I think this spelling is nice and straightforward.
If you dont like [name_f]Taya[/name_f] another suggestion is [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] (ma-tay-ah)
I’d hesitate without the accent between “Tee” and [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-uh" (with the accent, definitely [name_u]Tay[/name_u]-uh) because I have met a woman named [name_f]Tea[/name_f] (pronounced Tee) before!
Téa is very pretty though, I like the suggestion of [name_f]Mattea[/name_f], with this as a nickname.
probably tay-uh with the accent and tee-uh without the accent. I know a [name_f]Teah[/name_f] (tee-uh)
Exactly what @ziggy2112 said.
I have seen “[name_u]Tay[/name_u]-uh” spelled Taia if that helps.
I love this word, said just like the beverage [name_f]Tea[/name_f].
That said, I wouldn’t name a person that b/c the word just sounds like a letter and we all deserve more than a letter.
[name_u]Tay[/name_u]-ah is maybe what many would say.
