I like [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] better! I don’t really like Tadgh’s pronunciation, but the idea of [name_m]Teague[/name_m] (TEEG) intrigues me, too? I feel like [name_m]Teague[/name_m] would go really well with [name_m]Piers[/name_m], [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], etc., too.

I prefer [name_m]Tadhg[/name_m]. It has such a great strength, but also this lovely touch of whimsy. I prefer the long I sound, to the EEG sound. I also can’t help but see [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] as a dated girl’s name, so I suppose that doesn’t help things - I do think it could work nicely on a boy though.

I was thinking that [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] could give the option of [name_m]Teague[/name_m] if we decided, or he decided. I am definitely charmed by [name_m]Teague[/name_m], have been for almost as long as I loved [name_u]Teagan[/name_u]. Funny thing, it has never been considered for a stand-alone name, yet [name_m]Tadhg[/name_m] has. [name_m]Will[/name_m] have to think on that.

Family and friends, including several boys, are mostly voting for [name_u]Teagan[/name_u].

I’m split. I really like the sound of [name_m]Tadhg[/name_m] but the spelling really bugs me. I like [name_m]Teague[/name_m] more than [name_u]Teagan[/name_u]. Overall, I don’t think any of them are bad names, I don’t think you can go wrong either way
