I’m trying to pick a name with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] in it that I like. Everyone keeps telling me the names sound bad! Any opinions would be very much appreciated!

I want to really love them all (because I love [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]) however, Pearlou/Pearlu looks kind of awkward to me, like “Pear [name_u]Lou[/name_u]”. In that case I feel like it should be written as “[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_u]Lou[/name_u]”, which looks way better to me.

[name_f]Pearlina[/name_f] would probably be my favourite from your list.

Suggestion: [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] Rosabeth? I love the elegance and simplicity of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] with no added suffix.

Thanks for that advice! I really like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]-[name_u]Lou[/name_u] best because it’s a mashup of me a my grandmother’s names so the hyphen advice is great! Any other thoughts?

The only thing that comes to mind is [name_f]Pearla[/name_f]. Since you like Rosabeth I will suggest [name_f]Pearla[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Pp’s suggestion of [name_f]Pearla[/name_f] was my first thought. Otherwise [name_f]Pearlina[/name_f] sounds the best

I actually prefer [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] on its own. It’s such a pretty name that using a different option, just takes away that prettiness.
Of your list, [name_f]Pearlina[/name_f] would have to be the best though. Or [name_f]Pearla[/name_f] like the pp’s suggested :slight_smile:

People’s opinions are not going to change by posting new threads asking the same question over and over again.

Why not just use [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] by itself? It’s perfectly fine on it’s own, why complicate it with unnecessary add ons?

With the add-ons, I think you lose [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]'s simplicity and elegance. My eyes see “Pear” (as in the fruit) and then a bunch of other letters.

[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is lovely. Rosabeth is nice. Together - [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] Rosabeth - they make a great name.
