Terri

How would you make the name [name_u]Terry[/name_u] feminine without making it [name_f]Terri[/name_f]? So other alternatives or [name_u]Terry[/name_u]/Terri in different languages
Many thanks

Teresa or [name_f]Terra[/name_f] maybe?

Terry is totally unisex to me. I’ve always kind of had a soft spot for [name_m]Terrence[/name_m] on a girl.

My dad is [name_m]Terrence[/name_m]. :slightly_smiling_face: But the problem is we are using [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] as a first name! If we have a girl in the future and so she would be TT and so it’s quite tricky to find anything remotely good and without clashing.
I quite like [name_f]Terra[/name_f] @whatchamacallit but does it sound like Terror?

I worked with a now retired woman named [name_u]Terry[/name_u] so I do feel it’s truly unisex. She did occasionally get emails addressed to Mr. LastName even though she has Mrs. in her signature. (But I also work with a [name_u]Gaby[/name_u] who has been called [name_u]Gary[/name_u], so that may be more about our customer base than anything else.)

Theresa is the classic option, but I also quite like [name_f]Terelynn[/name_f] for something more unique.

I think of the earth – terra firma. It’s a lovely name.

Oh lol it doesn’t sound like terror in my accent but that’s a good point :joy: I just think of the earth.
[name_f]Terese[/name_f] goes well with [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] I think, if you’re ok with alliteration.

I like [name_f]Therese[/name_f] too but I think [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Therese[/name_f] is such a mouthful  and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Terri[/name_f] sounds a bit strange too. If only he had a middle name but he doesn’t. I was also thinking of my maiden name ( his last name) which is Hoolè so perhaps [name_u]Holly[/name_u]? Hmmm
[name_m]Can[/name_m] anyone make any beautiful girls names from Hoolé?!:blush:

Aw [name_u]Holly[/name_u] is sweet! It sounds pretty close to your maiden name if I’m saying it right.

maybe [name_u]Terrie[/name_u] or [name_u]Terrey[/name_u]?

It’s kinda hard to say lol it’s like the pronounciation of the Legend of the guardians of Ga’hoole the owl novels  check on YouTube lmao. Cute stories

Oh ok! Yes I’ve seen those books

Holly is literally the only name I can think of! But they are pronounced different.

Hmm yes, [name_u]Holly[/name_u] is as close as I can think of too. Maybe a different T name or a name inspired by one of his hobbies could work?
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_u]Holly[/name_u] is cute though.

Or since you already have [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] I think that kind of honors in a way. And then an H middle could work?

I’ll add it to the list, which seems to get longer by the day lmao
At the moment we have

Tabitha [name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]

I am getting a bit disenchanted with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] as it’s becoming very popular like it will almost become the new [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for a middle. ( [name_f]Do[/name_f] love [name_f]Rose[/name_f] too)

Maeve is gorgeous but yes, it is getting more popular. [name_f]Nell[/name_f] is super sweet! I think [name_u]Holly[/name_u] has a bit of the magic of [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
Would make a sweet [name_u]December[/name_u] baby middle too.

I agree I really like [name_u]Holly[/name_u] if baby was [name_u]December[/name_u]. It’s very pretty and magical. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is lovely and its partners fave I just think it’s popularity will sky rocket now.
[name_f]Nell[/name_f] I think has that vintage charm and it honours a great grandmother.
I’m still on the hunt though.
