Thoughts on [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f]?
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] gets my vote.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] is lovely, but so ubiquitous these days that it has lost its sparkle a bit (for me at least). [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is far less common, soft, but spunky, and works well to fit in with modern names, but not drown in a sea of many with the same name.
Both are lovely but I would give a slight edge to [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
Here is another vote for [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] strikes me as more classic, grown-up, and spunky. If you really love [name_f]Theresa[/name_f], you could use this as a full name, with [name_f]Tess[/name_f] as a nickname.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
I prefer [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] as a combo, but I like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] more when it is alone.
My thoughts exactly!
I understand that [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is much more over-used than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], but I still like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] more.
I don’t know why, I just don’t like the name [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] very much. Sounds like a nickname.
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is so lovely!
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] are lovely names! Between [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], I prefer [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. It’s very pretty. However, I like that you can have both names with [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I really adore the previous suggestion of [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], I think flows beautifully.
I would like to suggest [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Therese[/name_f]!
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f]… beautiful name!!
I really like them both, they have each been on my top names list at some stage.
If I was to name my child one right now, I’d choose [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. It’s so beautiful!
Oh my! Both names are beautiful! Though I must confess, [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is my first daughter’s name, and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is high up my short list now that I am pregnant with number two They both flow really well and work on all ages, and they are easy to spell and pronounce, all big pluses in my opinion. If commonality matters to you [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and variations are VERY popular right now, but [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is in a sweet spot of mid-200’s in ranking, making it familiar yet refreshing.
Either way, both names are winners and you can’t go wrong!
FWIW I sometimes wonder if we should have given our daughter the name [name_f]Theresa[/name_f] as a full name (still using [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] in day to day life), as I feel like it gives a slightly more professional sounding option for when she is older. We decided against it because there are two common spellings, and our last name is always misheard/misspelled/easily mockable when it is understood properly, so we thought we’d keep it simpler - and we both like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] better
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is my favourite, 100%! If it wasn’t my niece’s name, [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] would be my own number one choice.
I like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
[name_f]Susan[/name_f]
I prefer the flow of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f].
