Thanks for all the name help, Berries!

Big sisters Karisa Rose and Kalena Grace wish to announce the arrival of their little brother, Evan Theodore. Born on 9/11 at 3:22 a.m. weighing 8 lbs. 12 oz., 21 inches long.

With Daddy and Mommy each having one Hebrew and one Greek name, we were looking for a handsome combination rich in meaning from those origins. Evan is the Welsh version of John meaning “God is gracious” and Theodore is Greek meaning “Gift of God.” Evan is the 11th Great-Grandchild of both sides of his Mommy’s family. Evan’s last great-grandparent, my Grammy (Mom’s mom) passed away last January. At her bedside before she died I got to tell her that I was expecting her 11th great-grandchild. (Her 9th great-grand was born to my cousin just a few hours after she died.) This was especially great news to her as I had miscarried a couple months before. Evan is such a precious gift and we welcome him with great delight! Daddy is also very proud to finally have his son!
